First off Wilder would never be allowed to fight Usyk by his management as Usyk is far too good of an opponent. Ajagba and Kownacki are far more realistic. Unless Haymon wants cash in on Wilder and put him lamb to slaughter against Ruiz or Sanchez.

Secondly Wilder isn't the most lucarative option for Usyk. Most of the top Brits would be in AJ, Whyte and Fury. Parker has also proven to do big PPV numbers as well.

I don't see why Usyk would fight Wilder unless Fury ducks him, but if he does then he obviously wins, in massive, one-sided fashion.

no risk no reward*... Wilder lost almost every round against a slow footed boxer in Ortiz till he caught him. No way he catches usyk.

Yeah, how exactly is this high risk? Even if it was, Usyk thrives off going after fights like this. He wouldn't balk at Wilder for one second.

On December 28th, Usyk was quoted as saying he's focused on Joshua, but otherwise he's looking at Fury or Wilder.

I didn't watch the video in the first post. I don't know what the WBC said. They have no control over Usyk. But the WBC can drop Wilder from the ratings if he challenges for one of the other belts. Ruling that he can fight Usyk just means the WBC won't drop Wilder in the WBC ratings if he signs to fight Usyk.

And, Wilder-Usyk for three belts would be an awesome fight.

The best punch against a southpaw is, after all, a straight, lead right hand.

Wilder has a pretty good one.

I would tell DW to eff off. Let this one hit wonder go beat a top contender again before thinking he deserves a title shot.

Usyk said after Joshua he wants Fury or Wilder. Said it about three weeks ago.

Hopefully Fury then. F*ck Wilder, Let him earn a title shot again. But he won't. He'll stick around insisting on waiting for a title shot, rather then earning it.

Usyk wants to have all the belts, to be undisputed, so if he gets past Joshua again he'll come after Fury.

Chicken leg Wilder needs to earn it first. He has dropped in rankings since getting bitchslapped by Fury again.

This will not happen in 2022 if ever.

Wilder has been sparked twice in a row. he would need to fight a couple of people with a pulse before this was remotely possible.

If Usyk beats AJ, Wilder and Fury he will probably go down as the GOAT.

Usyk has mega fights lined up for Joshua (almost definite) and Fury (likely). Why would he waste his time on the loudmouth windmill.

    No chance Mark.
