This is a very very weird episode... I'm not even sure what Usyk meant. He said it in a quite ambiguous way.

Pretty sure he was making fun of Gvozdyk for holding an interim title by calling it trash and not a real world title.

 

No, he wasn't in a funny mood, I would say... He either meant it that interim titles are trash (which they usually, and maybe not in this case, are) or maybe he meant that Gvozdyk's so good that they should acknowledge him as a real champion (which is quite crazy because Gvozdyk realistically is yet to prove himself).

 

He clearly meant to say: "It's bull**** that Gvozdyk is interim champion, he is real world champion"

 

Gvozdyk has one of the better resumes at LHW right now.

Though I wonder if Bivol fighting a guy Gvozdyk already beat for a vacant title has something to do with why he is mad.
