Vitali is too big and iron chined for Usyk


A absolutely ripped Vitali in tip top shape is 245 lbs. Usyk completely ripped is only 198 lb. even if Usyk gained muscle he’s be 210 to 215 max. That’s at least 30-35 lbs and 3-4 inches in height against an iron chinned warrior.

Only way Usyk wins is an unlucky cut or Vitali throws out his shoulder Chris Byrd style lol

 

Hmm, that would be an interesting fight. Which might go different ways if they fight several times.

 

Plus Usyk is amazing but boxing is different now. Cruiser weights are not having any success against the tall super heavyweights.

This isn’t the ufc either, the tall super heavyweights have a ton of advantages in boxing that simply cannot be mitigated.

Finally, we haven’t seen any evidence of what Usyk could do at HW.

 

How would Vitali deal with such a mobile opponent? He rarely ever fought anyone who could move, how would Usyk deal with Vitali and his awkward style and accuracy, It's difficult to get inside against Vitali because of his low guard, he was master at keeping things at range and dictating where he wants the fight to happen, I'd favor Vitali for a narrow decision, just too big.

 

Vitali is extremely hard to even win rounds against, let alone outpoint him if you're smaller and have less reach and power.

You cant outbox Vitali, but Usyk opens up a cut on Vitali’s eye, from the laces in his gloves and wins by Doctor stoppage.

 

The one thing that Usyk has over opponents would be taken away and that's awkward style. Vitali punches are more unpredictable and with Usyk you can line him up for straight shots down the middle not so much for the 6'7 footer who can reach you without even moving forward much. If vitali decided to pepper usyk from distance and use that switch up style he coasts for a UD decision which I think it would happen the styles make for a dull fight if they had fought.

Usyk basically has next to zero chance and vitali is probably the worst match up for him even more then Joshua IS going to be.

 

That's a hell of a question lol and i could mkae a good argument for both fighters.

 

Past prime Vitali had one of the best beards in boxing, a prime one even better so he'd take everything Usyk had walk right through it.i think Vitali would keep Usyk at Bay with the jab and set him up with that @LeftRightDownThePipe and KO usyk.

 

I see Vitali winning a close but UD. Usyk would have to be very VERY careful to stay away from ANY HW's right hand, but obviously as a Southpaw he understands this issue. Only way to defeat Vitali is to cut him or separate his shoulder; no way Usyk hits that chin and KO's the Klit.

But I don't ever see this fight happening, as it's a Ukrainian vs a Ukrainian. Pimp, how about a "Usyk vs Valuev" thread?
