I'll do it just to prove you wrong. Lewis landed several clean uppercuts.

If on his bike = boxing and moving with better movement and timing than Joshua then yes, he was on his bike especially in round 12 which debunks your notion that he was a "plodder at best" and "turned into a plodder when he was tired" because he was a bit tired late so he clinched with Mavrovic a lot and smartly leaned on him to take the energy out of him. Even then he was on his toes just fine late in the fight and was good with those right straights

Round 2 T Rex Vegan Mavrovic winning the battle of the jabs 1st minute. Lewis winning second. 3rd minute first instance of holding the head down and punching. Not an uppercut but a short right hook by Lewis. Mavrovic drops his hands and avoids Lewis jabs to the head. Last 10 seconds Lewis holds the head and uppercuts.

He was gassed. Mavrovic is no Usyk. Usyk is an elite athlete and he has the footspeed to dominate Lewis footspeed.

2:22 3rd round. Mavrovic hit's lewis with a punch a meat eater would have KO'd him with. Followed by Lewis holding the head but swinging wildly with a right hook and missing. Another attempt at his patented dirty boxing.

0:37 seconds 3rd round remain. Lewis holds and hits rear uppercut again. 3rd Round Mavrovic hit Lewis repeatedly with overhand rights. A bigger puncher would have had Lewis out at this point. 3 rounds in and 2 instances of illegal tactics.

Usyk is so fantastic and his harvesting of AJ's soul has sent such a cataclysmic shock wave throughout the boxing world and caused so much butthurt that he's single-handily turned the General forum into the Classic and IFL into the JDL aka the Joshua Defence League

Usyk is such a great athlete that it has send the whole boxing world into a paradigm shift. He is truly a great fighter. Once in a generational talent.

Even a fat out of shape Lewis wouldn't fight as stupid a fight as Joshua did. He'd use his weight advantage to push back and bully Usyk. He'd land cleaner punches too.

    Lewis by UD.

I thought I saw a thread about Usyk vs. Ali and/or Iron Mike. Now Usyk vs. Lewis.

Damn, the man crush for Usyk in this forum is unbelievable.
Was this because of the thread "New Pics of Usyk's Body" which had one of the most number of views. LOL

I thought the man crush for Loma a few years ago was ridiculous but this one for Usyk is too much.

I've never seen so much emphasis placed on what the loser supposedly did wrong as opposed to what the winner who outclassed them did right and this is despite the fact that the winner had everything against them from huge physical advantages to a heavily stacked deck. Usyk was giving away a lot of natural size, weight, height, reach, strength, power, and youth and activity and he was fighting on hostile territory in the lion's den of AJ's backyard in front of what was with the exception of a small band of Ukrainians 67,000 rabid AJ fans.

Usyk put on an absolute masterclass, one of the best boxing displays in recent memory and one of the most beautiful I've ever seen in the HW division from a big man and he didn't run or stink out the joint he actually took the fight to him for spells and hurt him and almost got him out of there. And he'd only fought twice in three years going into the fight and it was just his third fight at HW since moving up and the first one wasn't even decent sparring.

What David was doing in there had an awful lot to do with what Goliath wasn't able to do and like I said the only one of them who was noticeably hurt and in danger of getting stopped was Goliath.

Re-read what you wrote and I agree. Usyk did a once in a generational thing in dominating the less athletic big man. It was a great night for boxing as a sport.
