Usyk vs AJ 2 PPV numbers revealed

    Yeah, AJ still the money man in the division:

    "WBN can confirm that Usyk vs Joshua 2 can boast sales of 1.249 million despite the elevated cost. It’s almost certain now that Fury vs Joshua will be sold for between £29.95 and £34.95."

    The first fight did 1.232 millions.

    Now in the TOP 10 UK Boxing PPV, AJ is in 1st, second, third, 5th, 6th and 7th place. 6 out of 10 are AJ matches.

    Just a comparison Fury vs Whyte flopped big time. They flopped so bad, they didn't even dare to announce the numbers.
    They predicted 500+k. PPV on ESPN and 1.5m. on the UK, yet they did 40k. on ESPN and not even announce the PPV numbers, which obviously was s*****.
    Fury name is nowhere to be found in the top 10 UK sales. Not a single one.

    The big question is how much should we expect from Fury fight ? It's in the UK, biggest British fight in the division, 2+m.?

    That was one inexpensive PPV. The last time I paid $35 (US) for a PPV was Holyfield-Foreman in 1991.

    They should charge the UK for Fury-Joshua what the typical PPV rate is in the US. That would be £74.50.

    It's the biggest heavyweight fight in British history, after all.

    1 mill PPVs with Chisora

    And 1.232 mill with AJ

    And 1.249 in the rematch

    He's packed out arenas in the UK, Russia, Germany, Latvia, Poland, Ukraine, the US, and Saudi

    Really good numbers. The guy is a star over there.

    AJ has been getting nice paydays for a long time, but it's good to see Usyk get a few good paydays as well. He deserves it.

    The Usyk/AJ rematch split was 50/50 so both guys made off with tons of money.

    Yet people still doubt the drawing power of AJ. The guy is a box office machine and by some margin still the money man of the division.
