Aj bull rushes Usyk. If Usyk doesnt get caught AJ will gass out and Usyk stops him in the second half of the fight since he doesnt want it to go to the cards.
Interesting fight. In his last loss rematch, AJ had to turn full boxer, but now he has to turn full brawler as he's not out boxing Usyk. I'd like to see just how aggressive AJ gets, and how he mixes in movement & pacing with that. If I was them, I would have trained with no weights for this fight, just pure agility and sustained output. AJ is still dangerous to a south paw with that right cross and ability to finish you when he hurts you. I'm still going with Usyk, the master of his craft who can even elevate his game more if needed. I expect a better effort from AJ too, can't wait for this one.
Usyk on points, but a bit closer this time around. Joshua will fight more conservative, but won't find an opening.
AJ will get full credit from me if he turns this around, but I don't see how he can. Unless Garcia has been able to rectify the spectre of being stopped by Ruiz, as soon as Josh gets tagged by Usyk, and is struggling to deal with the movement & angles, all I can see is him retreating into his shell and going back to boxing. Usyk TKO late for me, his style has always been a bad matchup for AJ. Fair play to AJ if he shows us all something we've never seen before - he will need to!
He's going to be more aggressive and try to impose his size. It's not a bad strategy, but AJ's lack of stamina, poor defense, and glass jaw could easily result in a Usyk TKO or KO. Povetkin exposed his inability to defend hooks inside.
