I don't really think Povetkin even has a chance in hell against Joshua. Not even a prayer! Practically 0 chance. But Usyk is a totally different story altogether.

The problem is Usyk is 31 and has a young mans style. Today was probably his defining moment and high water mark.

He uses too much movement and volume to not see a drastic dip in performance as he progresses through his 30s.

Interesting how Usyk will box when he's the smaller guy. He's so fast it can probably be an advantage to him.

The referee was selected by Parker’s management team, how does that make Joshua “his boy”?

Joshua surprisingly clearly won the exchanges on the inside!

You can time stamp all the videos you want but if you’re unobjectionable then your results are skewed and rendered irrelevant

    Did you watch the videos?

He had Joshua hurt, even the commentators picked out on it.

The referee wasn't selected by Parker. They agreed and were happy with who sanctioning bodies selected as the ref. Again twisting/refusing to accept reality like a typical willfully ignorant Joshua fanboy.

''We've got an Italian referee. We signed off on those officials [at the beginning of March]. We're very happy with what the various sanctioning bodies have appointed.''

Just like you didn't want to accept that Parker had said Joshua's punches didn't mean much, you don't want to accept the fact that the referee was doing everything in his power to protect AJ when Parker had him in trouble, in spite of video evidence.

I watched the full fight live and twice since, why would I watch watch your agenda driven edits?

The irony in your replies is staggering, you use the word “fanboy” to suggest I have an agenda but then post quotes you’ve stored and videos you’ve prepared to discredit Joshua, it’s laughable!

Parker landed one punch that Joshua backed off from but he wasn’t hurt and was back on the front foot soon after!

I’m not going to be anal and go looking for the quotes but during the negotiations for the fight it was said that Parker’s team had listed a number of officials they’d be happy with and one was duly appointed by the Governing bodies.

Parker never had him in trouble so your imagined point is moot

Because you are arguing the case that the ref was impartial when there is video evidence right in front of your face, showing that not to be the case.

And of course there is evidence showing he hurt Joshua. Were the commentators ''agenda driven'' when they stated Parker had AJ hurt?

Nevertheless you don't want to concede you are wrong so this discussion is pointless really. We've shown you numerous fights and examples where Joshua has failed to do much damage to his opponents who were of lesser caliber to Usyk and yet you still wish to maintain this ridiculous idea that Joshua is this ball wreckingl power punching machine who can blast out great fighters within a few rounds.

It would be very laughable if there wasn't so many of you donkey's who shared these same misguided ideas

It's a 50/50 fight IMO. Depends on how well he can absorb the odd clean shot and physicality in close. Wilder has a puncher's chance. Povetkin is too old to keep up with him.

Usyk totally schools and administers Lacy-style leatherings on everybody else at HW.

How the hell will AJ cope with the constant movement and foot speed. Is there anything there to hit?

I dont think people appreciate how slow and muscle bound AJ is.

    Usyk for me.

    But.....

Joshua is improving all the time, if he continues to improve at the rate he is then this could be an absolute war in 3-4 fights time.

We need to see how he does against a bigger guy first.

He should go for Wilder first.....
A taller man, but could actually be lighter.....
A man with power, but with poor fundamentals unlike Joshua.

Wilder is meant to be this athletic, hybrid, monster....

But he was outworked and looked slower than plodder Ortiz.

Wilder is much easier to hit than Joshua. Hence he's been hurt by weaker opposition.

Might end up looking like what most boxing "experts" figured Vladimir Klitschko vs Byrd 1 would look like before they actually fought. Can Joshua deal with Usyk constantly turning him? Joshua seems to have pretty good cut off punches and his uppercut is primo so maybe he can deal with Usyk.

2Slyk would be a very dangerous move for AJ.

Although to be fair, facing a now non-green AJ whilst 2Slyk is still a bit green, is trying too much right now. The Witcher needs to acclimatise at HW first with some warm-ups, see how it goes, gain more knowledge of the biggest men.
