    I always felt like Briedis is a lil overrated on this forum. You saw him struggling against southpaw Perez, he will struggle against the far better southpaw Usyk.

    Usyk easier as many people predict.
    You can make a very good case for Breidis to be the division's #2, but I believe Usyk's style is like poison for him. The winner of the other semi final has a much better shot of pulling the upset as Breidis has.

    I hope Usyk wins the entire thing like expected, because it would show people that if you're good enough, you can beat the (strong) division's best and win a tournament without relying on home advantage.

    Wide UD + KD for Usyk.

    Usyk is definitely a throwback. Many fighters would never agree to participate in such a tournament!

    Road warrior, won the title in Poland and went on to defend in Germany and the USA. He is now fighting a unification in Latvia, in his opponents back yard. Good look imo.

    Yes no having to foul and cheat like crazy to get the W. No sending spies into his opponent's camps so that he knows everything that's going down and what their game plan is going to be in advance either. He wins his fights with clean boxing and legal tactics.

    I think a lot of people are jumping the gun regarding the Usyk vs Briedis fight, i also think that Usyk will beat Briedis, but not so easily.

    According to the Bri'ish bookies, Breidis has as much a chance of beating Usyk as Rigo has to beat Loma.

    Will be a hard fight.Briedas is very dangerous .Good boxer with genuine ko power .could go either way.
