Excellent Rummy. Usyk is special. Dubios was out of his element from the jump and things got worse from there. Usyk showed he is levels above Dubois.

Just a guess, The Ring and DAZN hire him to make specific vids for a certain fee per vid, with The Ring and DAZN owning the rights to those videos.

Propa appears to have similar deals with both.

BTW, I love this. Youtube is a real rough game for a lot of genres with how the algorithm works, etc. Unless you can hit millions of views per vid, it's hard to make much. Sponsors are the way that "creators" in areas that are never going to generate massive views can earn a living. When there are some boxing channels that a large percentage of boxing fans watch, it makes absolute 100% sense for those guys to be able to earn a nice living off it. And both DAZN and The Ring are stepping up. Good.

Side note: how long before Saudi (i.e. The Ring) owns DAZN and renames it to The Ring? Lol. Y'all know that's coming. Or maybe they keep it named DAZN, throw the other Saudi sponsored sports (golf, soccer) up on there too? I'm all for it. Never seen such a fan friendly big wig in a sport as Turki.

I think Dubois came in with the plan of being physical, imposing his size and strength, knocking Usyk out. The only problem is that fight plans don't work on Usyk. The Cat is as slippery as an actual cat covered in grease. Whatever Dubois tried just didn't work. Trap Usyk in a corner? Nah, Usyk slips out of there in a second. Grab him? Nah, Usyk slips right out of that too. Try to lead in head first up close hope for an "accidental" headbutt? Nah, Usyk grabs him in some kind of MMA-style neck hold.

Usyk may actually be THE greatest of all time at avoiding situations that he doesn't want to be in. At this point, I think the only way to beat him is to just outbox him. I think the only two men remotely capable of that at the moment are Fury and Parker. If Usyk takes a fight with either (please let it be Parker), they should boil themselves down to maximize their speed and stamina. Fury should come in at like 240. Parker should come in at like 220. Shred it ALL off, none of that weight is worth a damn against Usyk. Strength and size is also not worth a damn against Usyk. AJ and Dubois are built like comic book superheroes, probably insanely strong in a weight room. Did them **** all worth of good.

And we have to thank him for fights that have happened, that may never had been made without him...

Exactly. Fan friendly big wig. And he seems fighter friendly too -- all reports are he's as no-nonsense as can be, the day he says the money is being wired into the account, it's wired in full, no games, no bs.

Many fighters had to sue Don King to get paid.

Going in I thought this had upset written all over it, Dubois was much younger and had shown definite improvement in his last few fights and Usyk was after all 38 years old. Then after the second round I thought, the only drama left was what round Usyk was going to stop him in, at that point I figured it would end around the 8th to 10th round . Wrong again! Dubois seemed shook by anything Usyk landed and compared to Usyk's footwork Dubois looked like he was trudging along in wet cement. I know it was Usyk's skills that made it look like a mismatch, and it was, but Dubois's performance seemed far worse than their first fight and that I didn't see coming. I think I'll take a break in predicting upsets,,,my nickels worth.

So far it looks like Turki is a plus for the sport. People saying he loses money on the events. They don't realize how much money he has. Losing 10 million on an event is like us paying $100.00 for pay per view. He is just the richest fan of boxing in the history of the sport.
