Could it not have hit his bladder though, which is obviously also below the beltline?

Still photo of the low blow. 80% of the punch is below the belt line (the entire belt).

    That's ballgame.

What really is ironic is that as much as dudes here cry about “robberies”, this is just “meh whatevs”, weird take.

The rule is that a punch is low if it is below the line of the hips. Typically, the bottom of the elastic -the beltline- corresponds to the line of the hips, hence the term below the belt and why guys pull their trunks up. Blows on the elastic waistband are legal.

Belt line is when at least part of the glove is above the belt , but in this situation whole glove is below or on the belt.

Again, my man I’m not here argue with you, it was pretty obviously a legal (though close) shot and because you’re a fan you can’t let it go. Sometimes dudes get lucky, he got a gift, take it and keep it moving. You sound like the “I watched it 10 times in slow motion” guys. Usyk got a gift, he’s not the first, won’t be the last, it’s boxing.

Carl Frampton, who is a former pro boxer that was doing a UK Dubois-freindly broadcast of the fight, said it could be ruled a low blow.

    It's low.

Technically a low blow. Part of Khan's glove landed below the belt. Maybe 15%. That should have not been a KO.

Dubois, however, hit Usyk with about 80% below the belt.

A few inches can make all the difference down there.
