DuBois can box and punch quite well, if DuBois comes to fight super fit and well trained he has a good chance of a huge upset? No one in unbeatable not even Usyk.

Yea but its like 100 to 1 chance or less, one can argue Usyk is not tested in heavyweight yet since Joshua fought like ****** trying to outjab smaller, faster, better technicaly guy xd and Chisora win aint ****

I hope Dubois sparks Usyk its heavyweight boxing after all.

I am not counting on it though. Dubois got beat up by Joyce. And Joyce already got beaten by Usyk. Also Joyce got stopped by Zhang.

Not to endlessly bash on Dubois, I hope he lands that lucky punch, but there are literally like 10 guys that would make better opponents to fight Usyk.

No. Not if Usyk gets covid. Not if Usyk breaks his hand. Not if Dubois loads his gloves. Not if all three happen.

    Dubois has no talent whatsoever.

I don't think he even has a punchers chance as Usyk has shown a good chin up to this point and there's no way Dubois out boxes Usyk.

This is a mismatch, Dubois will do well to win more than a couple of rounds and the fact Lerena had him down 3 times, he might not even make it to the final bell.

If Dubois is to win, it will have to be via some kind of freak injury to Usyk.

Dubois took heavy shots from Joyce, but with very little experience, he was leading on the scorecards. What happened against Lerena was weird and raised a big question about Daniel who managed to return the beating even with a torn ACL - true, he was saved by his people and was given a premature stoppage, but it seems he at least tries hard. So let's hope for a good fight.

Does he have the chance - it's the heavyweight division, he isn't such a s*it fighter, so who knows, considering the history of upsets... I doubt Usyk will underestimate him as some posters do. He already lost a few rounds against a faded B-level fighter as Chisora, FFS.

To the theoretical scenario if Dubois wins - well, it proves bad for Usyk and the big Saudi event goes nowhere.

USKY couldn’t put a dent in chisora/Joshua so Dubois will have no concerns about the Ukrainians feather duster quick fire combos. DDD to eat a face full of leather to land one or two bombs at a time. Uskys chin totally untested at heavy, DDD could crack it no problems.

Dubois spent a lot of time picking himself up off the mat against Lerena, who is not much bigger than Usyk and has no KO power at all.

Of course Usyk can knock him out. I suspect he will, or at the very least box Dubois' ears off for 12 without Dubois getting anywhere near him.

A big hitter always has a chance and Dubois isn't too bad. Yeah he has a chance.

    I give him a 0.1% chance.

We saw Usyk toy with AJ, twice.....Dubois is not nearly half at the level AJ was then + he's arguably more stiff and robotic than AJ.

He took a few jabs to the face from Joyce, and quit....god knows what Usyk will do.

Depends where it is too. In the UK he could absolutely win on the cards if Usyk can't KO him. Remember people were saying Chisora got robbed or almost won etc.

People really thought Chisora got robbed that night?

I mean sure he put on a spirited performance and gave Usyk a tough time but Usyk won clearly.

Dubois is the poor man's AJ so it's pretty unlikely.

Agreed, if he's able to land his best right hand Usyk will falter and I'm not sold on his chin at heavyweight either. An interesting side note is where will Usyk be mentally for this fight? He has had all this fight negotiation drama with Fury, tedious press releases, the war in Ukraine and changing opponent names constantly. Could he be just a little unfocused?
