they always say that when a fight gets leaked before they themselves get to announce it.

If this fight comes off, I'm going for ddd to put it on Usyk from the first bell and stop him.
As much as I like Usyk, I think the time is now right for him to be taken, this fight may just prove it is one too many and too soon...
It happens to them all, and Usyk is no different.

    Day for antagonistic inbreds.

Dubois is walking out to the Wolfe Tones, rosary beads and ‘Up The Ra’ on his shorts I heard.

Dubois has already lost to Usyk and not just lost, he’s been stopped by him and you are like ‘yeah DDD anytime after halfway’ like it’s a gimme fight for him. What response do you expect?

Progression in this fight for Dubois would be to not get stopped again and to get to a decision.

Usyk is a warrior, legend and an elite fighter who is totally prepared for any challenge.

The sight of paper champion Joshua being obliterated by DDD may have people forgetting Usyk is the real deal and daddy of the era.

DDD beating Usyk will be an incredible achievement but I still see DDD taking the knee.

Don't think I suggested it was a gimme fight, did I? If you are interested, my reasoning is, Dubois is a much better fighter than he was when he lost to Usyk. And Usyk is worse. He is getting older and the successes fighters have had against him have been when fighters he has beaten have pressured him, have put it on him. Think AJ round 9 I think it was, fight 2, Fury was it 4,5,6...this is from memory, my rounds might be wrong but one was a big round for Fury, Chisora roughed him up. I think Dubois is now a much more strategically physical fighter and uses his attributes much more efficiently. I think his engine is much better than people credit him and I think if he hurts Usyk, he will finish him. Will he have rocky moments, absolutely. But this won't be a rerun of fight one. Why would it be? You can't stand in the same place in a river twice....

...but, I might be wrong. If Usyk is as he was he boxes Dan's ears off....

Thanks for the reasoning. I agree that he has a greater chance this time as has more momentum and realistically the last match against Usyk probably came too early for him. He didn’t even have a statement win going into that fight. Plus he looked great last time out and understandably has the hype train behind him.

Reference your point about boxers having success against him, he boxed Chisora 5 years ago now so I don’t think that can still be used against him.

Let’s see what happens, he certainly has a punchers chance. I think it will be a Gassiev type performance for Usyk where he keeps Dubois off balance while boxing him at range, using his ring generalship and wins a unanimous decision. Have a good Easter weekend.

Good points well made. I used Del as an example albeit not a recent one. For me, even now, nobody at heavy is outboxing Usyk so they have to 'outman' him, in itself a bloody difficult thing to do. I don't subscribe to hype, and try to view things without bias. I have always been a Dubois fan, yet had money on Joyce beating him because he was all wrong for him at that point. It will be interesting seeing how this plays out for sure. Dan COULD be a dominant champion.. or he could 'fade into Bolivian' as Mikey famously misquoted. You have a great weekend too man, peace and love, P x

I would imagine the fight will be announced next week when Turki arrives, and there will be a faceoff in the ring on Saturday.

This fight could even sell out Tottenham not to talk of Wembley. Unless AJ on the undercard
