Usyk vs Dubois - Preview Prediction Video

EdIt post watch- Yeah, I've been saying Usyk UD but I think I need to see the first couple of rounds, if Usyk is landing flush and at will, then it could easy be finished via accumulation mid-fight.

I just dont see Dubois having the tools to beat Usyk, he needs to do the old dirty jab jab straight jab grab lean and rough his way through. But even then, with Usyks conditioning and chin, its gonna take something monumental to break through anything, and Dubois will be peppered by shots all the while. I just dont see it, although stranger things have happened.

I'd put money on the Usyk win, I'm just not sure when it finishes at this point.

 

Dubious is even more crude than AJ. slower, more telegraphed, slower feet. Just as prone to gassing out.

He has to go after and dog fight Usyk...which is going to end badly for him. Only Fury has the skills to dogfight Usyk effectively.

Oh and most importantly he has to clinch the living crap out of Usyk and put his weight on him. a tactic that is the MOST important element in heavyweight boxing when a bigger man fights a smaller man going back 100 years since Jack Johnson pioneered big manning an opponent.

 

I don't expect Usyk to KO/TKO him, but to win on points. However, I wish Dubois to perform the best he ever did so far because he's a young guy, doesn't look like a coward and is better than some other alleged prospects, so having his career going back at this point will be bad. Well, if he wins - wow, a big boost for him! As you say, @Rumsfeld - upsets happened before. They will always happen. And while some people are dissatisfied with that fight, I find it good enough.

 

I wish Dubois all the luck and I hope he wins, he got this opportunity of a lifetime and he has courage, some people should look up to him...

Usyk by late TKO is all I can see for the outcome

 

Great video as always Rummy. Upsets do happen but it's hard to see this going any other way than for Usyk. Expecting a wide decision or late TKO by accumulation myself.

Even though I really want Usyk to win, I do want Dubois to turn in a good performance as well. There's a very good chance that this will end up being our only Heavyweight title fight this year (unless you count Zhang and Joyce's fights), so I'm hoping for a good one.

Also not to jinx it or anything, but I firmly believe your record is going to improve by +3 very soon. Gonna be piling up the wins this year!

Yes, I know Usyk did not stop most of his cruiserweight opponents. Dubois is that bad.​

 

What are you talking about??? Joshua wasn’t “Afraid To Punch” in either Usyk fight…

 

Usyk will rage on the Dubois eye broken by Joyce and maybe even on the other.
