I thought the fairly featherfisted Kevin Lerena's southpaw stance was going to give Dubois fits, and it did initially, until he inexplicably took his foot off the gas after almost stopping him in the first. Almost like he wasn't supposed to almost KO him in the first, and had to follow his orders and backoff. While I'm not one to buy into fixed fights, but come on.... Dubois was literally there for the taking, all he had to do was let his hands go, and Lerena literally bent the knee and welcomed being KO'd. Regardless, Usyk is multiple levels better at virtually everything Kevin does, so he'll pick up where Lerena left off in the first round and win by the aforementioned, brutal Bellew-esque KO in 4 or 5.
Usyk clear UD, frankly I'd be surprised if Usyk stopped Dubois. I believe Lerena dropping Dubois 3 times was less to do with Dubois' chin, than his dodgy leg. Worth bearing in mind that Dubois was able to take Joe Joyce's shots for 10 rounds, who is a FAR harder puncher than Usyk. Dubois is better and more durable than Witherspoon and old shot Tony Bellew.
Well… Frank is confident in his guy!! This content is protected And the cringe regarding Ngannou vs Fury is unreal at this point. Lol Usyk Will stop dubois within 7. I think he’ll put his underrated power on display and make a statement.
“Oof madone” love it pasano. I have Usyk by UD although a stoppage is not beyond the real of possibilities.
This fight will further cement the consensus view that Fury and Usyk are levels above the rest of the division. It will be a crying shame if those two don't square off(I still believe they will)
Rummy very good! But why not cite Dubois as having the advantages in size strength & punching power? I agree that it is not massive or enough to win, but still these seem to be the facts. I will go with a Usyk stoppage by no earlier than round 11. Dubois will be very game & have no injury to sow him down.
Dubois showed against Joyce that he can go some rounds, so he has the stamina. Usyk isn't going to go look for the KO he is playing it smart and fighting outside. Usyk wins this by 118-110 decision.
We sort of know uysk can be hurt because we saw aj wobble him in the last round of the first fight but is dubois able to land anything on uysk? For me I imagine it's going to exactly the same as the bellew fight. Don't get me wrong I hope it doesn't as an uysk win means the only fight for fury next year is uysk. But a dubois win means the division is stuck again. If uysk does go through him early doors (which I don't expect) I wonder if we will see uysk vs fury early next year
