Does anyone know when the main card fight will begin? It says 5 pm. I'm not talking about just Fury vs Usyk, but also: Light middleweight: Serhii Bohachuk (24-2, 23 KOs) vs. Ishmael Davis (13-1, 6 KOs) Heavyweight: Moses Itauma (10-0, 8 KOs) vs. Demsey McKean (22-1, 14 KOs) Heavyweight: Johnny Fisher (12-0, 11 KOs) vs. David Allen (23-6-2, 18 KOs) Featherweight: Isaac Lowe (25-2-3, 8 KOs) vs. Lee McGregor (14-1-1, 11 KOs)
Great breakdown as usual Rummy! I'm really interested to see what gameplans both fighters bring and what adjustments they make from the previous encounter!

I will try putting it on at 11 AM ET and see what is there, or not there.
As I understood it, the ring walks were set to begin at 5:15pm EST. I guess 45 minutes between the start of the ring walks and the opening bell isn't too far off the norm for the big fights these days. I'm expecting the ring walks will actually start a bit after that (although that almost burned me on Dubois-AJ where they began earlier than advertised).
I think this could be pur generation's Thrilla in Manilla, two great fighters past their best fighting for the championship of each other. I have a feeling Fury is going to win this but as a fan of his, but more importantly, a fan of boxing, I don't mind who wins. The first fight was compelling viewing and I still have it as a wafer thin win that could have gone either way, with both men's dominant rounds overshadowing most arguments and opinions. I have always felt the best version of Fury beats them all, and I don't think that was the best version of Fury last time...perhaps it was in spells but not over 12. And yes, that is down to the wonderful Usyk and his performance. Can HE raise his game further? I really don't know but I am looking forward to what I think will be a war of attrition this time.
Gonna try and get down the boozer for the itauma fight, he’s the future heavyweight champ imo. Fury can win this but he needs to use the counter right hand and be more aggressive, if he fights the same as last time he’ll get stopped
It's possible that the 2 judges who scored the fight for Usyk, gave Fury round 12 almost as a consolation to make the overall scores closer (while still scoring the overall fight for Usyk) because round 12 at that point didn't matter. Not that I think it's impossible that Fury won round 12 but yeah I do agree it's strange he won it on all 3 scorecards.
That's the only aspect of the fight where I think someone tried to help Fury win and if not win then just look better.
I appreciate this detail. I was wondering how they were going to spread this handful of fights across so much time. I am leery the Bohachuk, Itauma, and Fisher fights end early, which will leave yawning gaps of time between bouts full of gab, gab, gab, talk, talk, talk.
I share your concerns. I plan on tuning in at 11 AM but I will also be doing other things, such as wrapping Christmas presents, trimming the tree, eating, chatting with family members and friends, etc., during the Prelims.
