Its mad this Saudi thing really. For my own selfish reasons im pleased im seeing great fights being made and on at a reasonable hour due to the time zones.

On the other hand it just shows up how pathetic the business of boxing is/was before that, all these promoters etc like pathetic kids not working with each other, were the A'side this, they said that blah blah. Then you hear them all going on "its not just the money, its his excellencies passion and vision, hes actually a funny guy great friend" etc. No its 150% the money stop talking shite. What will happen turki gets beheaded or something, or if they change course? Will it just go back to fights never being made?

Joshua Fury good example of waiting around to long, could have made bucket loads years ago fighting each other when they were considered the 2 best instead of arsing about for years over splits etc.

This is where Fury-Joshua is a good match-up. Fury wouldn't get in Joshua's head either but there's always the chance his arse will collapse anyway. Fury thinks he's too good but the longer we wait, the more chance Joshua lands a fluke bomb on him.

It's just hard to see Usyk letting Fury hit him the way Wilder did and that's really the only way the result changes.

Fights always got made before. It's Hearn style jibberish to suggest big fights never got made before Saudi blood money took over the sport. The only thing that's changed now since the introduction of the never ending riyadh season is the financial backer loses money every single time he puts on a fight.

 

And of course the Rematchroom clause as standard, getting in the way of making alternative fights. No trilogies allowed.

Usyk beating Joshua twice in a row was a fine thing.
