He didn't have the gears, that was the problem. He looked flabbier than usual and looked like he had some of the movement but less agility - he was able to get in range and land, but didn't want to stick it on. Maybe he thought doing that would be a safe points win.

If he's a bit fitter next time he's got it in him to win. The problem with Fury is that he tells 3 different stories at all times, so either he's rushing for a knockout like Wilder 2, he's going to adjust a few things and coast to points, or he'll do exactly the same and see what happens. In truth it could be bits of all three at different times!

You think Fury gets any credit if he stops little USKY in the rematch?

 

Even the most ardent Fury hater should give him credit should he pull off the upset.

It is funny how people discredit Fury's opponents when their career is over but he was a huge underdog before he first faced Klitschko, Wilder and now he is the underdog again.

I will be very impressed should he pull this off.

 

Discredit careers? The only good name that has retired on his resume is Wladimir. Let us also not forget that he hasn't won a rematch against top level opponents. His remacthes have been against John McDerrmot, Dereck Chisora and Deonaty Wilder. That doesn't hold up at all going in to a rematch with a talent like Usyk.

I gave a balanced post about Fury above and I don't care who criticises any boxer as people entitled to their own opinions.
