The circumstances in which the first bout was made; the clash of styles; polarising personalities, both of whom are entertaining talkers; the undefeated records; the drama of the first bout and the aftermath, lead up to the second; Fury's new style in the second bout; the fitting finale in which both men went down multiple times. Breathtaking. Sport at its finest.
A mandatory has not taken place for over 2 years by the time fight is agreed. Usyk has no scheduled fight and no scheduled mandatory. WBA who are next in line have not got a mandatory challenger in place and therefore the IBF is due and as no one is injuered and Usyk has not asked for time off due to injury or a voluntary with no undisputed contract signed the IBF have rightly according to their rules called the mandatory. The Saudi money in place was for the undisputed belt they may pay less for a non undisputed fight or Hrgovic will ask for a fair few quid to step aside given there is over $50m on the table from Saudi my guess is he asks for 10m. If not AJ vs Hrgovic will be called. If AJ wins that fights hes back at the table at 50/50 for the Fury fight as a belt holder
this clown lost to a 45 year old china man, he has no business sharing the ring with Usyk but let Hearns throw Hirgovic in just to delay Fury Usyk and then drop Hirgovic after the fight - "we never had a deal with him it was always fight by fight koogs"
Why should everyone wait for fury to fanny around with Chisora for a payday. They could have signed the undisputed for early February as Usyk asked. It would have been a signed fight and prevented any mandatories being called. Fury decided he wanted to get easy Xmas money and Hrgovic who has earned his chance wants his shot
You talk some shite. What a backwards way to look at it. Why couldn't the IBF correspond with Fury and Usyk following the Chisora bout? It seems likely to me that it would have been signed following that. Hrgovic got a gift decision against an ancient Chinaman in his last bout, after having been dropped. He looked crap and has beaten nobody.
Why so salty. Hrgovic has paid the IBF a ton of money over the years. Fury and Usyk have paid nothing. Boxing is a business. Until there is only one sanctioning body this will always happen
50/50 he’s lost 3 of his last 5. Beating Hrgovic (who’s shite) for a vacant belt doesn’t warrant 50/50.
