I do agree with a lot you say, especially about ancient Povetkin taking the early rounds off Joshua and being superior. I concede, Joshua indeed fought a southpaw and I forgot about that one. However, he never faced a southpaw at the world level from the top 10, like Chris Byrd, or Sultan Ibragimov for example. That guy you posted, has double digit losses and around 50% loss percentage out of his career number of fights. In other words, that guy was a TOTAL BUM! So I wouldn't count him whatsoever as nothing Lewis did against such a level of opposition has any bearing on a potential fight against Usyk. Which brings me to my next point, which is that so far, Usyk has shown more feats suggesting he can beat Lewis than vice versa. Perhaps Usyk should not be the favourite. But there's more of a case that can be made for Usyk being the favorite than Lewis being the favorite, purely down to the fact that Usyk has fought opponents that resemble Lewis more than Lewis's opponents resembling Usyk. Now I could agree with you that Lewis should be the favorite over Joshua, purely down to the jab alone which he could use to outbox and outpoint Joshua with, whilst also letting him set up his rear power hand. However, Lewis was literally getting outpointed by Frank Bruno before his chin gave out in the later rounds, another bodybuilder who was shorter than Joshua. So again, it doesn't really matter. Maybe Joshua is not as good as Lewis, but he is certainly better than any southpaw Lewis has ever fought in his pro career.
Wlad also has the left-hook which Lewis nor Fury have. It's the most powerful short left-hook I've ever seen in heavyweight boxing history. The way he dropped never previously dropped Povetkin with a glancing left-hook is something to behold, more impressive than Fury or Lewis's uppercuts.
Of course Lennox Lewis. Just like Holyfield could defeat Zeus. Lennox could defeat Zeus and Odin blind folded. If Lennox and Holyfield are mentioned Its easier to agree with the majority of people on here.
I agree with most points but Lewis wasn't prime in that Bruno fight. Everything about Lewis was enhanced 2 fold besides his handspeed when Steward trained him. His jab, his footwork, his infighting, his timing, his uppercuts, his head movement, etc. He leaned on opponents more, he used his physical strength more, practically everything
