Usyk vs Michael Moorer

I'd say Usyk on points, Not a lot to go by
since Moorer skipped CW. He was a good LHW
but not the stiffest competition. He's a fairly unfocused
guy and I think an elite of comparable size
also going up to HW could outbox him

Michael Moorer by KO. Moorer had guys scared in the HW division when he moved up and he was knocking big guys out. Usyk is talking about moving up in 2020???
That guy cleary has a fear factor that did not exist in Moorer plus Usyk has a shaky chin and no power for the big boys.

I can't say that Usyk can be anyone note worthy in history until he actually does something spectacular. So far he is just a big Ukrainian who you keyboard warriors love because you can relate to him. Boxing wise he is a relative nobody and thats a fact.
From the looks of it he needs to be at heavyweight, he is the biggest guy in the ring in over 98% of his fights. Usyk is a weight bully.

I know Usyk rubs you the wrong way for obvious reasons but bring a better argument when trying to dismiss him there Homes. And what SPECTACULAR thing did Moorer do in his career besides beating a Holyfield suffering a heart attack and being on the receiving end of every 45 year olds dream?? Moorer was very good but very beatable by a top notch Cruiser.

If you think Moorer would win fine that's your opinion but to just completely dismiss Usyk is stupid as hell. His career is just starting and he's already made history along with an Olympic Gold medal Enjoy the rest of the show I'm certain you won't though. Lol

Funny how now they are pitching the narrative that Usyk has a shaky chin. LOL He took Medzhidov's power just fine in the WSB and that hit much harder than Moerer. They also advance that in order to be great you have to move up by when an E.E. moves up or expresses their intention to do just that those same people criticize them for it making all sorts of predictions how they will inevitably fail.

They would probably pick prime Al Cole to beat Usyk!

Odd fantasy matchup. A big punching light heavy who never fought at cruiser but jumped to heavy and had a good career there but was beatable.
Against a Gold medalist who fight at cruiser and has lot of hype behind him.
Usyk to me anyway has "slightly" underperformed so far, in terms of the hype that goes with him.
I won't make a pick on this match yet but would like to see the results of the cruiser tournament.

 

If we are talking about the Michael Moorer that had just moved up.. Moorer all day every day.. he was a pure killer back then.. it was a little later when he got lazy and comfortable as a fat heavy that he got sloppy.. 1989/90 Moorer was on fire.

 

They advance that when they talk about Golovkin, Usyk and other fighters from post-Soviet countries. But "somehow" they don't demand the same thing from Rigondeaux who can stay at 122 in a weak division, even though he said he would fight anyone from 118-126...

Usyk had a few uncomfortable moments with young Bounty Hunter.. Good fighter, but we need more proof until we start hanging a great tag on him.. He's exciting as hell, but needs a test..
