How does one evaluate that Medzidohv hits harder than one of the most lethal light heavys and heavys in the 80s and 90s? Obscure..

    Not doubting Medzidhovs power btw..

Usyk is quality, but it's too soon to be making bold statements..

My opinion is purely based on the levels of opposition Moorer fought and beat.

Some people rate fighters on their skill and accomplishments and could care less about their race. Only a low grade POS racist like you thinks in these terms.

Boy, this is a tough one.

Moorer was a monster at LHW. Destroyed everyone.

Not quite the same level of destruction at HW, but still a powerful force.

I have to say, I lean slightly towards Usyk here because of his athletic ability.

Usyk has the superior amateur pedigree, I believe, and I also think he's shown he can handle the power of larger men. At least in the amateurs, I think it was.

Usyk would be in danger the whole fight because of Moorer's power, but I think he is able to out-box Moorer and take a close decision. But Usyk would not be safe until the final bell rang.

If Moorer won by stoppage, I wouldn't be surprised.

To be honest, I need more information on Usyk's chin and the backgrounds of his opponents.

I saw just about all of Moorer's career. I like him a lot and respect him a lot. I also have a lot of respect for Usyk and his abilities. He's a real talent.

If anyone doesn't respect Usyk, you're kidding yourself.

Olympic gold medalist and professional world champion in his 10th fight. Very athletic guy for his his size.

The guy is a serious player in the sport. I don't care what color his skin is or where he's from, the guy can fight and he fights with flair and precision.

Cute story. Moorer was knocked down by guys who were heavyweights and a PED using Holyfield. You think George Foreman, Holyfield on PED's and David Tua wouldn't knock out Usyk? If anything you are the one dismissing Moorer.

Everything Holyfield lost he would make excuses up. Holyfield suffered a heart attack? Yet he managed to go 12 rounds? Funny stuff.

Who else did Moorer beat besides Holyfield a all time great? Well he beat Vassilly Jirov, Frans Botha who was 35-0 at the time. Vaughn Bean who was 27-0 (Sure he wasn't great but guys like Vitali K and Holyfield also fought him) Who did Usyk beat? Wait nobody worth mentioning.

Funny little retort and even funnier username ;) I said "Moorer was very good" so I really wasn't dismissing him right?? Who has knocked out Usyk or dropped him in ALL his fights as an amateur and pro?? Exactly  And his resume is pretty damn good thus far and is just beginning. I happen to think he's better than Moorer and will prove it in the next 3 years. Don't like that?? Tough **** ;)

Moorer might of been undisciplined, but his talent made up for it. Very few fighters would beat him below 200. When he was focused I dare say he was even a great heavyweight, he was having his way with Foreman before the miracle happened. Got overconfident Imo. Moorer brought his speed from his lhw days. Pre Foreman Moorer would have no problem with Tua or Wlad.

You also have to factor in that Moorer fought during the Wild West era of PED's. The only domestic testing was from incomprehensive, post fight urine, State athletic commission tests if that. Often times no PED testing was done.

It was crazy times back then!

For this to work it would have to be at Heavyweight.

Usyk coming in at 6'3" 210 as he likely is in the ring, while Moorer comes in at 6'2" 214. Moorer was really good at using his Southpaw advantage and unusual reach in the early 90s, problem....Usyk is also a Southpaw and rangier. Usyk by UD.

Remember like 8 years ago Roach gave Moorer a sympathy job at Wildcard. He sucked as a trainer so they put him at the front desk and nobody could stand him doing that either. He was trying to make pac's mom give him a dollar because she did not notice some stupid sign and leaned on the counter. Real bright; Disrespect and harass the mother of the gym's cash cow where you are employed.

Just a surly weirdo who was bad for business so Roach let him go. LOL

What's this have to with with a hypothetical match up/

    NOTHING!

What's it have to do with what an unlikeable ***** Moorer is?

    Everything
