    Everyone ripped him for struggling against Ruiz, including AJ. Now Parker is the man who beat the man, but still didn't look good against good competition.

    Not saying he's the best out there, but if you're already at a level where Whyte and AJ were going to be very hard fights it's hard to be the away fighter in the UK against a UK favourite and look good.

    i like parker in this one. i think this fight allows him to be the bully and he will fight with more confidence. i think the step up in class in all dpts at hw, will be more than usyk is ready for. if usyk beats him, hes the real thing at hw.

    For me Usyk wins this one if it's made, but that's not to say Parker cant win. Parkers issue is that he has an iron chin, but he seems to be too ready to concede ground in fights and be bullied, as there's zero reason he cant walk through someone like Usyk and punch 'with' him.

    This. Parker seems to just go through the motions. Even when he was a champion he always did just enough to win. The only time he showed even a tiny bit of ambition and a sense of urgency is when he fought Whyte, who took the fight to him and didn’t allow Parker to coast through the fight.

    Somali - I agree with your comment below-
    "He needs to revise one thing, his mentality, I don't think he can though, he has everything physically, strong, great chin, good legs, fast hands, can punch in combo but isn't alpha enough, he don't want to come out on top as much as the best of the best do. Tweak that a bit and he could be the last man standing out of the current crop his physical attributes are that good imo"

    Let's see if he can show what he's got

    If,,,big friggin if, Parker has his head screwed on straight I think he could stop Uysk. Parker can box and has a pretty good shot.

    Good matchup. Great test for Usyk at HW. I favor Usyk as the more skilled guy but we still don’t know how he will do against a bigger guy. Hope the winner of this one faces the AJ-Ruiz winner. Exciting times in the HW division. Finally.
