I want to see it because Parker has the best resume in heavyweight boxing outside of the big three. He is #4, and #1 already beat #2 and #3. This is the only meaningful fight out there outside of a Fury rematch.

But it won't happen for reasons cited by everyone.

    Joshua-Parker fight.
A rematch stirs the heart's might.
    Usyk waits in sight.

Usyk is 37. He'll be 38 by his next fight. He doesn't have many fights left.

    He's not stupid and I don't think he'll fight until he's 40.

He's going to pick his next fight to make money and build his legacy.

Parker is not going to do that for him, at least right now.

Uysk-Parker would be a great fight, although it probably won't happen before Usyk retires. I'd also like to see Usyk-Hrgovich, just to give Hrgo his shot after waiting so many years Uysk-Parker would be UD for Usyk, and Usyk-Hrgo would also be UD for Usyk. While we're in fantasy land, Usyk-Kabayel would be a fun fight!

    Surely Parker deserves the shot?

He is most definitely behind in the queue!! It will be the Fury rematch and then likely a trilogy with AJ as that makes big money....fighting Parker does NOT generate those huge pay days for Uysk.

18 months from now Parker will get a shot at a belt.....and I believe it will be for whatever one(s) are taken from Uysk

Usyk fought completely different against Joshua than he did vs Fury.

He's way too good for Parker.

I think you're overplaying your hand rather a bit, here.

For starters, the "top fighters" are the likes of Usyk, AJ and Fury - they're levels beyond the likes of Wilder and Zhang... Parker's nearer the former group than the latter, IMHO, but there's a world of difference between dictating the fight against the few legit contenders in the division and dictating it against guys a few levels below.

Secondly... It's very easy to dictate how the fight goes against Wilder as long as you're decently skilled and have a good fight plan - plenty of quite average fighters have done it, and then got careless and got caught.

It's not too hard to dictate the bulk of the fight against Zhang, either, since he hasn't got the gas tank to control anything beyond the first few rounds.

Parker's had a couple of good bouts against dangerous but limited fighters - and he's done really well against them.

    But.

Usyk is a totally different proposition - no way is Parker dictating the fight to Usyk, and most likely not to Joshua or Fury either.

Usyk is a class or more above Parker; he will easily outbox Parker to a decision or a possible stoppage win.

I tell you. There won't be a rematch. Usyk vs hrgovic next, then usyk vs parker or winner wilder vs. Zhang and he will retire

I give Parker a lot of reapect for simgle handedly reviving his career the hard way, taking on the tough fights and putting in the work to win them, and yes it would be semi interesting to see Usyk in with a different style like Parkers.... but its just not enough for me to be excited for this matchup.

Would rather see Usyk just retire and let Parker fight for one of the vacant belts.

There is a good argument that Parker is 4th behind those big guys.

He should be next up to face Usyk

Between Usyk's long amateur and professional careers, he seen every style imaginable.

Parker is not bringing anything to the table Usyk hasn't seen.

The one hope for Parker and others is Usyk gets old.

    Father time is undefeated.
