I would rather he face Kabayel...Parker is being overrated now and I think Usyk would smash him to bits...

It does and the WBO mandatory position of Parker should push it over the line.

Parker will make Usyk work harder for it than Dubois did.

Parker-Usyk the best heavyweight world title fight that can be made at the present time.

It would do well in the UK, Australia, New Zealand or Saudi Arabia, especially with a decent heavyweight undercard. Some fights like Bakole-Zhang, Anderson-Miller and Hrgovic-Wardley would be good.

I just don't get how the division is so horrible when you have one universally agreed upon great in Uysk, and four other guys, Fury, Joshua, Parker and Dubois, who might finish with significant legacies of their own. And they are all fighting each other.

    These are pretty good times.

I think you are missing a huge point here. No one has sold Parker as some sort of killer...he's a boxer first.

What real fans like about Parker-Usyk is precisely what you are decrying. Parker started out on the top of the world, winning a title at 24 years old, lost it as abruptly as he won it, struggled for a number of years with defeats, poor performances, and lack of interest, picked himself up, has put himself in a terrific run to be the the indisputable #1 contender. It is a great narrative contrast to Golden Boy Usyk, who can seemingly walk on water. It's not quite Rocky-Apollo Creed, but it's kind of something like a Norton-Ali match-up, where you have the king and a blue-collar hero going at it.

Perhaps I have not explained well, but there is it.

“Introducing (think Michael Buffer announcing)….Aussie Joe Parrrkkker! Let’s get ready to rumble down under!”

This. In my opinion Parker needs another solid win against a good opponent like Kabayel before going in against Usyk.
