USYK vs Parker... the ONLY Fight that matters now !!!

Makhmudov -910 Kabayel +575
Sanchez -190 Kabayel +154
Zhang -225 Kabayel +180

At this point not to be a 50-50 he would have to fight Usyk. And that is what people are advocating for

PS: while I would have loved to see Kabayel against another good opponent, Dubois evaded his and still got the fight and it is sadly common to evade the most dangerous opponents. I would say same rules for everyone.

Apart from having seen a thousand parker fights and not expecting him to Trouble Usyk, I would rather like to see a boxing 'outsider' like kabayel get his shot for once than someone who already had their chance at least once and has already been in the money-range for a long time.

 

Parker's problem is inactivity now. His improvements were made with activity. He fought 5 times in the 18 months following the loss to Joyce, culminating in good wins over Wilder and Zhang.
Zhang was March 2024.
Parker didn't fight again until February 2025, and a last minute Bakole did not test him. None of us know when Parker will fight next. He's being left on the shelf.

 

Kabayel for me. Beat zhang and chisora much more easily (I had Parker losing the first fight) and generally hasn’t had losses like Parker who lost to whyte, Joshua, Joyce and robbed fa and chisora while scraping by by two points vs Zhang.

 

Yeah even if he is fighting cans I'd be happy to see him in with someone. I don't want him to make the same mistake as Tua did waiting for Lewis.

 

Kabayel would have more losses too if he fought more than Chisora and Zhang.

 

I think Usyk will do to Parker what the Juggernaut did to him

 

I think Kabayel is too slow for Usyk, at least right now. That might change by the end of 2026-early 2027.

 

Usyk Vs. Kabayel is another fight that makes sense...
