In a Usyk Parker match as was said, the clash of styles of the two fighters will be interesting as both can box very well. So who will be the aggressor and who puts who on the back foot? I lean towards Usyk as I don't see Parker being able to seriously get to him, but as Usyk moves into the realm of being a 38 year old heavyweight, age related difficulties can raise their head. Is Parker the one to bring them to the fore with his boxing skills? I have it about a 60/40 fight with Usyk as a favorite.
I think Usyk is too good for Parker, but Parker deserves his shot and Usyk gets full credit for adding another very good name to is resume, should he win. It is better than another rematch. Good fight, I hope it happens. Will watch the video later when home
60/40 lol, you mean the guy who got mauled to death by Joyce and lost to that lord of the rings orc Dillian Whyte? Oh, but he beat a bunch of 40+ year olds way past their best and didn’t even do it impressively.
A great fight! I am a Parker fan and would love to see him win, its possible. Usyk is hasn't seen handspeed like Parker's for a long time and he is getting up there in age where everything slows down a bit. Also Usyk hasn't had Parker on his radar like he did Fury and Joshua, he even spent a year intending to fight Chisora. Saying that Usyk is still the clear favourite. Parker has been able to fight his fights at his pace and managed his stamina pretty well, he will unlikely be able to do this to against Usyk. Also Usyk is just Usyk and able to adjust better than anyone else and keep it going 100% until the final bell. Plus he has a great chin and heart to go with it. I think Usyk will most likely go with the Dubois fight and negotiate to keep the WBO. Parker will take that deal with a promise to fight the winner, I hope he takes a stay busy fight in between though.
I'd prefer it if Usyk fought Parker next too. Both men have been on terrific win streaks, but Dubois has already had his crack at him and despite his success in recent times, I really don't think a rematch with Usyk goes much differently. Ideally, Usyk will fight Parker next and Dubois will fight Kabayel with the winners meeting. In that scenario, I'd prefer Dubois dropping the title to Kabayel so Usyk wouldn't round out his career with another rematch. Plus it just makes the resume look better. While not the absolute best of all time by any means, a resume consisting of two wins over AJ and Fury and wins over Dubois, Parker and Kabayel certainly wouldn't be anything to sneeze at either. Far from the worst championship run in heavyweight history! Sadly, the more likely scenario is Dubois rematching AJ or fighting Chisora, so we'd end up with some kind of rematch either way you cut it. But man... can you imagine if Chisora was able to keep his upset streak going, and he and Usyk would have a dual retirement fight with undisputed being on the line? I don't look for it to happen, but how wild would that be... Then again, weirder things have happened in the theater of the unknown. If this happens, I refuse to take responsibility for speaking it into existence
