I personally think this should be a fascinating match up. I'm almost wanting Joshua to vacate his WBO belt, so this can happen in the background. Some people may point to Parkers loss to Whyte and let that decide this for them, but that could have gone both ways. I think this could be very close. I personally don't think I can call it. It will be Usyk's chance to prove something. If it goes 12 rounds, I'm learning slightly towards USYK, but if Parker can get a knockdown it would be closer. If I had to bet I'd say Usyk on points, but only slightly, maybe a split decision.
I never mentioned age for good reason. Boxers have different primes and age has little to do with how you determine prime. Parker peaked already then lost to Joshua, Whyte etc etc. Try looking at it this way, Tyson and Lennox were nearly the same age when they fought, but Tyson’s prime was 86-90. This is where he peaked. Lewis prime was roughly 99-03. I believe Parker’s time has past at world champ level. Usyk by UD.
Usyk is the favourite but Parker is no Cruiserweight or shot journeyman like Chisora. If this happens it'll be Usyk's first true test at HW, an opponent who is skilled enough and has the handspeed to catch OE consistently.
That's bullsh*t, how is Dubois rank 2, who has he fought? Garbage. He'd get annihilated so young, and inexperienced.
