Smokin Joe. I favor Usyk in that matchup. Altho keen to hear your take on why you'd favor Frazier?

I love Povetkin. super fanboy here. have seen him fight live several times. with that said I give the slight edge to Usyk, just do to his work rate and footwork. But Povetkin is a come forward puncher with a solid chin. and great bodypuncher too.. It would probably go 7 rounds to 5 Usyk.

Why wouldn't i ? Usyk does not have the power to keep Frazier off of him. Frazier was able to pin down Ali's movment who's footspeed is as fast if not a bit faster than Usyk's. Usyk struggled when Briedis applied pressure and drove him into the ropes in spots. Fraziers pressure would be relentless and he would be going to the body. Frazier can also match Usyks workrate by the time the mid rounds come by and have the stamina to easily make it over 15 let alone 12.

He is all wrong for Usyk.

Valid points. Alright you've changed my mind. Frazier takes it, would still be close tho.

Usyk is incredible, but is it true that Briedis got robbed in his fight against him?

One could make a solid argument that Briedis deserved a draw.

Usyk as a better boxer easy on points, Povetkin is a good inside fighter but Usyk would be too slick and would successfully avoid Povetkin's attempts...

Tougher style match up for Usyk than Joshua. Povetkin will press and no doubt have a lot of success. Povetkin doesn't rely on the jab and can set traps that are far harder to read than most fighters. If Briedis can trouble Usyk, then Povetkin can do so too.

But I think the speed of Usyk will trouble Povetkin much like what happened vs Huck and Hunter. I think Usyk moves better than anyone Povetkin's fought as well and will be able to create enough space to diffuse some of Povetkin's pressure. Usyk will no doubt get chin checked but he has a good enough chin to take it and I think in the end Povetkin will fade and Usyk wins a decision.

    Usyk on points. No knockdowns.

Povetkin's still would cause Usyk problems. You have to go after Usyk, and Povtekin's style is aggressive.

I think Povetkin could take this by KO, but I think I'd say 7/10 Usyk wins via close decision.
