Ruiz will never be in shape, ever. He's another Arreola, but worse. That said, he's still a good, dangerous fighter. I would love to see that fight. I guarantee Usyk won't take that fight before a shot at the title. Far too dangerous.

"Ruiz is prime ,young fast and ko power" I'm finding it hard to reconcile that description with that walking tub of Crisco I saw last weekend.

Could heavyweight Bellew have beaten Ruiz last Saturday?

Someone genuinely asked me that today.

If he couldnt do that to Joshua who has decent footwork, how will he be able to get to Usyk who has masterful footwork?

Wasnt just the footwork that saved AJ it was his reach and hold and grab technique and punch power that deterred Ruiz but Ruiz usually had no problem whatsoever cutting the ring off and closing the distance

If you watch it back on multiple occasions Ruiz T’d off on AJ same way he did in the first fight

now Usyk doesnt hit hard enough to detter Ruiz from mauling him, and he doesnt have as much Range as AJ for creating distance

Usyk doesnt bring the attributes AJ does to the table...

look what witherspoon did to Usyks face and tell me Ruiz doesnt do worse?

Ruiz is so far above Witherspoons level

Pointless fight. Usyk just is on another level. He beats Ruiz easily.

That could be a good fight. A good way for Ruiz to redeem himself! I pick a focused Ruiz to win.

Usyk doesn’t need enough power to deter Ruiz. He just needs to reset him. I’d expect Usyk to do that convincingly with his footwork. Usyk’s punches should land often enough to again reset Ruiz. It doesn’t matter if it’s not KO power, if you’ve got the accuracy nobody wants to be punched cleanly in the face, be it a jab or a power punch.

If Usyk just stands in front of him without using his footwork, head movement, counter punches that's exactly what would happen, but the master boxer Usyk will come to box instead of being KOed by some mediocrity.

Usyk would beat Ruiz. Ruiz doesn't hit hard enough to stop Usyk imo.
