An all-Usyk tournament is held. The competitors will start at 221 pounds -- the Usyk who won last night -- and continue downward in one pound increments until they reach the lightest Usyk who could fight effectively. So, for example, 219 pound Usyk might face 195 pound Usyk, or 189 pound Usyk, or 215 pound Usyk on any given night. The winning Usyks will not suffer any wear and tear from previous fights, to avoid cumulative damage affecting the result. Which Usyk comes out on top? I, myself, favor 215 pound Usyk to take this one.
Usyk certainly isn't at his best at 221. He's slower at 34 and the added weight wasn't muscle that made him any stronger.
I believe Usyk said that we haven’t seen the best of him. perhaps he’s thinking of getting as heavy as Ruiz?
Do we also get to shrink Usyk to keep his bulk up? So we can have a 5' 6" or 4' tall Usyk at whatever increment? If so, I go for a 27" Usyk at...Eh I am not picky, keep him at 221. Since Occam's Razor would not let us assume we need to adjust his body fat % OR his arm length, he would be an extraordinarily muscular tank, somewhat wider than he is tall, with an exceedingly low center of gravity. Guys would have to bend to punch down upon him, often throwing uppercuts just to strike anything but the top of his head. Usyk would be able to turtle up & wear their arms down, eventually as they weaken land legal body blows from punching upwards, shots launched at unique angles that begin way over his own head. 2' 4" Usyk is the true GOAT.
