As I said before the match, Rico was going to be a super tough opponent, and perform far better than many of the boxers he's faced. Performing better than AJ and Fury equals, Rico is ****ING GOOD, not that Usyk was exposed. ....and you're a ****ing idiot!
Usyk always finds a way to win. But he was NOT exposed tonight, he just looked like one would expect a boxer in his 40th year to look, not quite as fast, not quite as sharp. And let's not forget he was in with an exceptionally tough man, someone who was taught some of the same dirty tricks Tyson Fury uses by Peter Fury.
He was exposed. AJ Ngannou is how these matches should end. He was exposed as in he's nowhere near this boxing god, or the goat HW.
Usyk looked soft physically, lacked the foot feints, the level changes and the active guard.. exiting on straight lines and not on the angle, even look disinterested at times so for me it’s simple - time to retire
Worst stoppage I've ever seen. The ref should be investigated, but we know his instruction was to stop the fight at the first opportunity he could at Rico's expense. Bad look for Usyk, he turned off a lot of people who were his supporters with this fight.
its crazy that Usyk went from looking his best ever in his last fight to looking his worst ever in his next fight. Right away I saw Usyk had a gut, I questioned how much did he prepare for this fight. No speed, no power, stamina looked shot. For the sake of boxing, Im relieved Usyk won but he needs to retire after this.
Think Rico's style and toughness was the issue. Everyone else spending too much time trying to box instead of roughing him up
