Agreed that Usyk has the skills that allow him to be non-compliant with an opponent's fight plan. Hence my use of the qualifier "or at least attempt to".... ;)

Whether Usyk's going to make it easy for an opponent (unlikely) or a big risk for an opponent (quite possible), a reasonable conclusion at this point is that opponents have no choice but to do everything they can to get after Usyk's body. After all.... How has any other strategy worked out for folks...?

Holyfield fights also almost all of them give off this impression that it’s a massive effort, even the ones he is winning. Probably because they come up from Cruiserweight.

He's got a stick up his ass about Eastern Euros. It's a startling blindspot from an otherwise respectable poster.

    No I don't
I rate usyk very highly. It's the fanboys who declare him goat and overrate him that is bothersome. I said he is arguably top 50 all time. That's an amazing ranking for someone with around 12 ranked wins

I thought it was a low blow. but even if you believe it wasnt, it was called a low blow

Had it been called a legit punch maybe Usyk beats the 10 count ?

Obviously he didnt need to beat a 10 count but im not so sure he wouldnt have

Dubious quit off a jab later in the fight which doesnt really sit right with me anyways.

The rematch should be good. Dubious has gotten better and Usyk has probably slipped a little and gotten worse due to age and being in 2 tough fights with Fury

He flopped and he had to sell it to prevent it being scored a knock down. Did body shot hurt him, probably. Was it a stoppage punch, nope.

I'm not questioning your boxing IQ, my guy. I'm questioning your impartiality toward fighters from a certain geographic region and/ or common heritage (Usyk, Loma, GGG....notice a pattern??).

That image is misleading. The punch has not landed yet. It lands higher up.

I loathe Luis Pabon like the coming of a million plagues, but he got the initial call right when he called it low. It wasn't on the cup but the point of contact was clearly below the belt and on the trunks area. Moreover, Usyk's trunks weren't high enough for any latitude to be given. It didn't land in a legal area and Usyk didn't do anything to direct the punch to the impacted area. Not a kd/ko.

However, Usyk was given almost a minute's worth of rest after he signaled he was ready to continue, and that contravenes the rules about how fouls are handled as per the WBA. That's the one legitimate gripe that Dubois had regarding this incident and had he chosen to pursue his protest on the basis of this he probably could have landed an immediate rematch. Probably worked out best for him that he didn't, all things considered.

Now, this is a much bigger fight.

Why is this still a thing? FFS.

Punch was low. Reaction was that of a low-blow. If it was counted as a KD Usyk gets up and still wins.

Now that we have a rematch though let's see if Dubois can replicate his 'success'. If he can legit KO Usyk with a bodyshot that'd be something.

Could tag many on here who hate on Ward, Floyd, hopkins, tank, shakur, haney, Holyfield Does that mean they hate all American fighters?

I like vitali and don't hate on kovalev, Bivol (other than calling him boring, but since retracted) and beterbiev

You are a fan of certain fighters so will call me out, but not others who hate in certain fighters of other regions

Loma overrated, as many called him goat
GGG feasted on cans in a terrible division
Usyk great, but fighting in a bad era with less ranked wins than Floyd, manny etc
Wlad boring clincher who ruled a weak era with his negative style

That is not hate, but my opinions and I fully stand by them
