What age are they both fighting? Is 23 year old Ali in 1965 fighting 23 years old Usyk whose still in the amateurs or is he fighting a 37 years old Usyk? Either way I give it to Ali.
It’s a legitimate opinion to think Usyk beats Ali but your reasons given and the films you’ve shown merely confirm that you know nothing about Ali or boxing.
Ali had 50-70's tech, gear, nutrition etc Usyk has had 00's-2020's **** available to him. If you put Usyk in a time machine and sent him back, maybe you're right, but it's not fair. If you were to give Ali modern day tech, nutrition and knowledge then who knows?
Ali won by outsmarting his opponents. He couldn't outsmart Usyk. He isn't bigger, faster, or stronger than Usyk. He doesn't have a technical advantage over Usyk. Also, also didn't fight any southpaws that were in his class. Usyk takes every advantage of being a southpaw. All that being said, Usyk would have to knock him out to win. Boxing judges are swayed as much by charisma and marketability as they are by power punches. I mean, Usyk just took 8-9 rounds from Fury and had a knockdown and had to settle for a split decision. He could do the same and lose to Ali.
I love me some Usyk, but you asking did Ali ever face this guy or that height has nothing to do with how Ali would do against Usyk. A better question is, has Usyk ever faced someone with the speed accuracy, stamina, movement and toughness of Ali. I'll help you out, no, he hasn't. Much the same as Ali never faced a specimen like Usyk. This would be a tremendous fight and to disrespect one of them by saying they have no chance or it would be impossible for them to win is just ridiculous. Both these men are/were masters at finding a way to win, rise above. 50/50 fight all the way.
What specimen of Usyk are we talking about? Does the speed or reflexes of Usyk in his MID 30's have the advantage vs a 1965 era Muhammad Ali? I believe not! Does a young 23 year old Usyk have the ability to beat Ali? No! Ali had over 100 amateur fights before the young age of 18. Men in the that era were expected to do MORE younger and the ones who greatly exceeded are remembered as Kings. To compare these two greats is ridiculous but undoubtedly Ali is superior.
Ali past his prime beat Geroge Foreman who was a (slightly) bigger and much harder hitting man than Usyk. Usyk does have a timeless quality to him though, he'd have been good in Ali's era as well.
Usyk from CW without dehydration, who would reach the weight he feels is optimal for a fight against Ali, ie. Usyk who was getting ready EXACTLY to fight Ali would beat Ali on points. IMO
