Why are people mocking this statement?
Do they not follow the sport and realise Canelo said he wanted to fight Usyk before Bivol beat him?
That means Canelo thought he could beat Usyk.

There`s no way Cnelo could beat a talented 6`3 fighter, Usyk is the best fighter in the world P4P, nobody his size or smaller can beat him, he`d beat Bivol and Beterbiev too.

Canelo himself brings this fight up! I've heard different catchweights brought up, 190 for a vacant CW title or 201 for the unified HW title.

He said it after Bivol beat him too, if anything he seems more interested in this fight.

It's tough for him him because these other guys at or around MW aren't doing ****. Almost any other era of the last 120 years there would have been several decent MWs for him to fight multiple times, in LaMotta's era or Hagler's he could be 60 fights in like he is and still a busy bee with new talent coming into the division from all directions.

He's had one really worthy rival who is even close to his size and now GGG is 40. So if he wants another big fight he has to do this circus crap of fighting someone multiple divisions larger than where he should be.
