Usyk would school every heavyweight. :nusenuse:

There's literally nobody active in the division that isn't facing both a significant class disparity and stylistic disadvantage (or at least a wash) versus The Cat.

I don't see how he's tailor made for Usyk. Joyce is though.

Stop underestimating Zhang, you gave him little chance against Hrgovic and Joyce, Usyk wouldn't destroy him, he could only frustrate him with his dancing and circling around him, if the fight happens Zhang will knock Usyk out...

Oh I agree man, if they came in like Joyce he'd stand a very good chance of knocking them out based on power alone, absolutely. But your next point is the factor that makes me give him little chance against Usyk barring a cut. Usyk isn't dumb enough to let Zhang connect early like that, and I believe his chin is good enough that it would take more than just one of those to put him down, especially for good, and he's fast enough to keep that from happening.

But hey, it's boxing, a little chance is still a chance and you never know what can happen. One of many things that keeps us all watching.

He may be overrated due to recency bias. Usyk's pace is unmached.

Can you do us a favour?

Go to an Usyk meet and greet, ask him to give you one of this:

and have someone to take a video and post it while you are in hospital. Cheers.

Ruiz stopped Joshua yet it was Usyk who made him absolutely lose his **** and go full-on Kanye. I’d say that’s pretty much the definition of being destroyed but you do you.

If Usky was bigger, then yes, Usyk would have no problems. But he is a aging small heavyweight and Zhang has 50 lbs on Usyk.

Every fight with a big powerpuncher is a dangerous fight, especially against one that can knock someone out with one shot.

Uysk had issues with Chisora. Don't forget that. Zhang is bigger, stronger and punch much harder.

I don't see this as an easy fight for Usyk. I see a very dangerous fight against big man with a big punch. Zhang has a very good puncher's chance. Underestimate Zhang at your own peril.

If Wilder could not knock out Fury then Zhang certainly won’t,have a look at Zhangs record and the level of opposition he has fought, apart from Hrgovic and Joyce it is terrible.A win over Joyce does not mean he stops any of the elites,he didn’t even stop Joyce and he was hitting him at will,Joyce was stopped with an eye injury .

The size of the dog doesnt count, it counts the size of the fight.

This is such a casual nonsense that has been disproven time and again. Not only Usyk had a problematic camp, but he didn't show his full hands. Also, a classic stick-and-move merchant whose main weapon is his mobility and speed will always have that type of fight with a shorter, stocky slugger (remember, Chisora is shorter than Usyk) who charges forward in the first few rounds, hoping in a quick knockout will always have that type of fight anyway. What was Usyk supposed to do, knock Chisora out in two rounds? He wasn't sparking out people as a CW, why would anyone expect otherwise from him as a HW? Styles make fights and Usyk's style vs Chisora's style will always result in that type of dynamic. Usyk weathered the storm in the early round then dominated Chisora easily. What issues are you talking about?

In any case, what I find most surprising is that Rummy agrees with such nonsense. Based on his videos, Rummy seemed like a rather objective analyst but reading his activities and witnessing who and what he agrees with, it's clear he is very pro-Fury and anti-Usyk. Strange, I expected better after watching many of his videos.

Zhang is a much more accurate and skilled puncher than Wilder. Wilder missed Fury so many times it was farcical. With Wilder, that's the thing - IF he can lend, it does damage. With Zhang, it's not an IF - he WILL land on Fury, especially since he is a southpaw. And in any case, he doesn't even have to knock Fury out cold. No serious boxing fan can think that a fellow southpaw and light puncher Wallin can lend and cut Fury badly, but Zhang won't be able to land and do serious damage. It was Fury's right eye that Wallin cut very badly, and that's exactly the target Zhang will be going for. Just look at what he did to Joyce's right eye. Zhang can absolutely TKO Fury.

Well I think Joshua’s Sunday punch is as hard as Zhang’s and Anthony did hit Usyk with a couple of those and absolutely nothing happened but Usyk answering right back.

But… The spooky thing about big Zhang is he’s sneakier with his shots. Times them better. Personally I think Usyk plays it smart for the first 4-5 and flicks out his jab while working his angles firing occasional quick in and out straights and right hooks. He wouldn’t really step on the gas and go for anything before 5.

I think Usyk stops him by the 7th or 8th. Ref would probably call it after an accumulation on the ropes.
