I don’t know. Joshua has been fighting top guys for two years now, longer if you include Dillian, and only lost once. Going to hold judgement of him until the rematch.
I think judging someone on a single loss is jumping the gun a bit. Anyone that consistently fights the best guys he can find will eventually lose, maybe for many different reasons.
I give Ruiz full credit for beating him, which most are not, most are just using Ruiz as a example of how poor they think Joshua is, instead of talking about how great Ruiz is.

 

Ruiz has beat a better fighter than anyone else of the new era.

Wilder beat Ortiz
Fury beat Wilder

Gassiev, Hits as hard as most HW's, and is far more technically sound than most of the "high" HW's, Look what happened.
Gassiev's gas tank is far better than most of the HW's.

 

I'm not sold on Usyk yet. I think he is a way overrated on this forum. The only reason Ruiz beat Joshua is because of his iron chin. He took Joshua's best right hand at least 3 times with no effect. Usyk has not proved he can take that kind of punch. European fighters always get overrated on this forum. We just do not know if Usyk can take a good punch and what kind of power he has at heavyweight. It is far to early to be saying he can beat people like Joshua.

 

Gas was awful v Usyk and there`s never been a cruiser that could punch as hard as a big powerful heavyweight.

Muhammad Ali took shots better in the 70`s than he did in the 60`s when he was nearly knockedd out by Cooper, Ali was near to Usyk`s weight when he fought Cooper but heavier when he made his comeback and for some reason took heavier shots than the one Cooper shook him with, Gas`s punch would have had more effect on the younger Ali than the Ali after the comeback and GAs would not be able to budge Ruiz at all.

If Usyk can take Joshua's punch, definitely. We already know what Joshua's weakness. It's an abundance of punches. Unless you have Wilder's one punch power, the best strat to go at him is to overwhelm. He really looks lost when you do this.
