I'm sorry people , Usyk showed me very little. Both men didn't appear to be championship quality at this point, they looked like what they are, guys with 11 and 12 fights. Though he showed heart an accomplished fighter would have stopped Hunter in 8.
Amazing speed? Leave off. He has above average speed for the division, no more. It's his timing, technique and footwork that allow him to land punches at a higher rate than his opponents.
You said it was a 50/50 fight and after talking a mountains worth of **** declined on a ban bet that was stacked in your favor... Usyk boxed Hunters ears off as well, so no you have absolutely no right to boast here.
Some People were talking about this great, unbelievable fighter who will be the best ever in the cruiserweight division and will beat Anthony Joshua easily , his name was Usyk. Then i was watching a complete fight from him ,the first time against Michael Hunter and was shocked. This guy was not the guy , some people made him out to be. Eating jabs all day long against a good but not an elite fighter in Hunter. Nothing about this fight really impressed me other than the 12th round , absolutely nothing. This guy is not even remotely on the level of Evander Holyfield.
If Joshua destroys Wlad then that chance would have to be drastically re-evaluated. I'm not sold on Joshua yet (he still has a lot of question marks) but even at this stage I'd have to make him the heavy, heavy favourite against Usyk. Just too much size, power, stylistic factors in his favour.
Thats because they are fanboy fools.... Usyk is good and will get better but in no way shape or form is he top Hw caliber and probably wont be bc he lacks a punch as far as i see.
hes the fastest Cruiserweight currently for sure you absolute mong. In the world series of boxing it was his speed that was his biggest weapon when schooling the best super heavyweights in the world who all had a weight advantage over him.. Usyk would make Joshua look stupid in parts at least.
Absolutely right , Usyk couldn't knock a guy out with like 30 punches to the head , in the 12th round. And this guy should beat Joshua ? lmmao . Joshua would walk through his featherfists and would knock him the f*ck out.
Joshua?? lol Im having a field day on the other thread with just Trey Morrison who is an ACTUAL effective HW!
Dillian Whyte has very little power and he knocked down Joshua in the amateurs and wobbled him badly in the pros. Usyk is on another planet ability wise to Whyte and has more power. Joshua's chin is dodgy, been Knocked down plenty of times in sparring and got knocked out by Mihai Nistor in the amateurs. Lets just see what happens in Joshuas next fight before you talk so much, Usyk is the more proven guy he was P4P number 2 in the amateurs with a deserved Olympic Gold, a world championship gold and a World title where he had to face guys with a pulse it wasn't just handed to him. The smart money right now is on Usyk.
