terrible advise. ruiz is one of those guys you cant just jab and grab, he is too fast and too strong with a low center of gravity. he would unload a series of hooks on you every time you tried it. the best advise i would give aj is to take a half step back every time ruiz launches himself forward, and meet him with a hard straight right. do not let him enter your space where his speed will overwhelm you. a simple 1-2 and side step should be the base from where he makes all adjustments.
I favor usyk over Wilder thats just about it I still dont know how he would do against joshua i have an idea . but not to clear Ruiz is as much of a threat to usyk as usyk is to him 50/50 Fury vs usyk. I favor fury
Way too soon to come to that conclusion. Usyk could win, but he'd have to work his ass off for the win.
Not sure why after one heavyweight match everyone is sucking the koolaid out of Uysks pants. Let’s see what he actually does in his next match up, and I use the word match up instead of fight for a reason.
The mechanics of the fight dont show that at all imo, but what the hell do I know these days... I picked Kova to beat Canelo. Im obviously washes up, but imo youre very wrong on Ruiz. We will soon see I suppose.
Maybe I am wrong about Ruiz, but I just don't get all the hype. Yeah, he beat Parker before he won over Joshua, but that was a close fight as I recall. And despite what all his boosters say, I just don't what a the hype is about. To me, he's a guy who over-achieved against an over-confident Joshua and logic would dictate that this won't happen twice. As you say, we shall soon see who's right here. I am happy to eat crow if I have to.
Me as well. Personally, despite picking Ruiz, and wanting to know I made the 'right pick', and having about $400 on Ruiz to win, I actually hope you are right, and that AJ does show that he simply looked past Ruiz... and is able to redeem and avenge the first fight. War AJ.
IMO, the Bodybuilder has not recovered from the beat down and quit job he suffered against Ruiz............you cannot train a chin and if you think loosing a few pounds is going to make you a cardio monster then you believe in santa Claus too..... The poster child for the AJ nutriders is WK.......who got BLITZED by the Flash in the Pan sanders.........got Steward in his corner and STILL got Ko'ed against Brewster.....hit the deck against Touch of Sleep and went life and death with cave man Peter.......what I am saying is that WK/Steward took some licks until they perfected jab and grab against bums in Europe.......and he never ever re matched sanders. There is no way in hell that AJ completely changes his style literally over night after he got the hiding of his life.......what you see is what you get, he will attempt to jab, gas and hook up close, gets clipped and put out.
