I predict Usyk will win a Heavyweight title one day, whether he starts at HW, or CW. I'm pretty sure by the time he becomes a contender, at least one of the Klits will have retired, allowing him to win a belt.
whatever weight division/ promoter/trainer/ he is has/ is in/ blah blah - he'll be world champion. He's THAT GOOD. it doesn't matter even if he's the smallest heavyweight ever. CLASS SHINES THROUGH
At the risk of committing blasphemy seeing how he's touted on this site, i've never been that impressed with Usyk. And i'm not fond of his punching technique.
There's no doubt Usyk is extremely good, with mobility and speed exceptional for his size, good accuracy and workrate. However we've yet to see his chin tested - I remember in the WSB finals the Romanian(?) kid who buzzed him and took a round or 2 - and we've not seen how his power will transition into the pros. At HW he might just be too small, and bulking up would probably effect his mobility and quickness. Don't get me wrong, I'm as high on him as anyone - just I think I need to see him fight a few times as a pro before I start wrapping belts round him.
he used his speed and size to his advantage against super heavyweights in the WSB, it was brilliant to watch
