We know he has tremendous boxing ability. He's a genuine top 5 p4p fighter.

In addition to this, I've learned this week that he's a great character. I've seen him fight on quite a few occasions but only got an insight into his character this week. He's half cracked, I like that!

If he nails the English language he'll be a superstar on this side of the world. As mentioned, he's got the ability and a fan friendly style.

If he beats Bellew in entertaining fashion as he's likely to do, it's a fantastic debut on the UK boxing scene. Suddenly he'll have the casuals on board. Then he moves up to heavyweight with a Whyte/Chisora type fight and if he comes through that unscathed, an AJ fight is huge. I think his size and style will give AJ fits. Imagine Usyk beat AJ?

A move to matchroom and UK boxing is a brilliant one for Usyk. Bellew is a great debut fight. The path to AJ is clear and the sky really is the limit for the man. It'll be an enjoyable journey one way or another.

He reminds me of the joker. It was a shame he gave his final press conference in Ukrainian but fully understandable. Hopefully by the next time he boxed here he will have the confidence to answer in English. He and his translator were so full of praise for British boxing, two very respectful gentlemen of the sport.

Hes a class act in and out of ring, even bellew has been laughing at him and dropped his hardest man alive routine because he can't get in usyks head with his constant drivel shite talk, bellew will be seething inside he's lost before a punch has been thrown.

He’s one of my favourite fighters and it’s good to see that he’s a great character out the ring too. After Bellew takes his soul (hehe) i’ll be very excited to see what he can do in the heavyweight division.

He's a favourite of mine too, a comical man who carries himself well , and is a fantastic boxer, what's not to like

Great point. He's inadvertently taken Bellew out of character. Not ideal for Bellew going into such an astronomical fight.

Usyk is a definately a good dude - I hope he decides to do a real number on Bellew and go for the stoppage rather then just outbox him.

Gassiev landed clean on usyk he didn't budge, does bellew hit harder than gassiev? Maybe according to bellew and hearn, I see usyk throwing his 600 punches but this time I think he will go for it more against a 37 year old man

I'd disagree with that slightly. I thought Usyk looked a little hurt on one or two occasions in that fight. He's that good, He boxed his way to recovery. But I'm sure he was a little hurt in that fight. I believe that's why Bellew took this one.

Bellew power at cruiser couldn't put away a one armed cleverly, makubu and BJ Flores then two catch-weight exhibitions Vs haye, not quite on par with usyk at cruiser

Yea I agree. Just cos he didn’t look hurt doesn’t mean it didn’t hurt. Usyk is there to be hit like everyone it’s a boxing match! I think Usyk wins on points but I’m this won’t be easy for him.

So who's next? The winner of Chisora/Whyte would be a great introduction to the heavyweight division and a big money fight. I think Whyte will fight AJ if he wins though. Chisora/Usyk may well happen if Chisora beats Whyte.

I’d like to see Usyk Hunter again at heavyweight. That would be a nice introduction for him. Then move on to a top 15 fighter.

I think he’ll fight the loser of Whyte-Chisora in April on the AJ undercard at Wembley. He beats both of them imo. His speed and footwork will be a huge asset at heavyweight.

I read the Whyte article on Sky Sports website before saying he’d maul Usyk. His tactic would be to ‘charge at him’ and ‘manhandle him’. Good luck with that, he’d be blowing out his backside by the halfway point and swinging for the trees. I agree with Bellew, I think the really big heavyweights would be too much for him. He’d outbox AJ but I just think AJ would clip him eventually.
