Usyk has never really been hurt let alone dropped, stopped or knocked out in the pros And he's fought lots of savage punchers and legit bangers Gassiev, AJ, Briedis, Chisora, Glowacki, Bellew, Huck and Hunter And even Witherspoon is a big puncher too. He'd stopped 14 of his previous 15 victims 'Witherspoon won the 2004 National Golden Gloves finals in Kansas City, Missouri, and by collecting all wins via stoppage, he became the first man in the history of the Golden Gloves to win the National Title by all stoppages' Name me one world champion on the planet who has fought that many murderous punchers, KO artists and legit bangers in the last 10 fights and not only not been KO'd, dropped, badly hurt but not really been hurt at all? And he beat them all in their backyards Lots of heavyweights have told me that Murat Gassiev is the biggest puncher they've been in the ring with'' -- Ben Davison This content is protected AJ hits like a truck This content is protected Briedis is a massive puncher This content is protected Chisora carries serious power in that right hand of his This content is protected This content is protected

This content is protected Gassiev hits him clean right on the button - check 35:04 & 35:16 for slowmo replays from different angles, took it well, but was right at the end of the round so hard to know really how well he took it given the bell went after. Gassiev hits like a mule - so even that alone says to me that his chin is a really solid last line of defence. But even when he gets clipped Usyk is fairly poker-faced, and manages to make it look like it didn't faze him - less so to the body, i've seen him indicate low blows from good bodyshots before.
9/10 I noticed if he feels a blow like with Chisora he clams up and starts to turn arourd the ring for 4/5 seconds before to attack again more aggressive. Usyk does not like leaning on the ropes to defend himself like many other fighters do rather he prefers to move around the whole ring to recover.
It's decent. AJ got him with a solid right at the end of the sixth I think which he clearly felt but took well. His body however is a different matter. I don't think he likes it down south or when fighters rough him up.
It's good, hes taken a few clean shots. What I still question is his body. Unfortunately, most HWs dont put forth a sustained body attack
Well the biggest hitter he has faced was Joshua and AJ never really clocked him in that fight, he landed a few decent shots that certainly got Usyk's attention but he wasn't noticeably hurt.
You don't run a gauntlet of savage punchers, KO artists and legit bangers like Usyk has since moving up to LHW-HW-SHW, both amateur, WSB, and pro, and not hit the canvas or not get TKO'd or KO'd unless you've got a seriously good chin. No matter how good you are defensively you're going to get caught with big shots sometimes People acting like these guys didn't hit him or catch him with big shots Go watch the fights And Gassiev who is not only one of the sport's most devastating KO punchers but is a murderous body puncher caught him with a whole bunch of vicious lefts downstairs
