Usyk's first fight at Heavyweight will be held in May in USA

    Alex Krassyuk, co-promoter of undisputed cruiserweight king Oleksandr Usyk, told Ukrainian media that Usyk's next fight will allmost 100% be in the heavyweight division. His first fight at HW will take place on May 18 or May 25 in USA.

    I cant wait. The division is good fun at the minute although a little frustrating too but there is room for more and what a talent.

    OK guy, who can be his first opponent at the HW if the fight will be hald in USA as Krassyuk said? Dominic Breazeale would be a perfect choise in my opinion since he is huge but very beatable. But I think Breazeale won't risk his WBC mandatory status.

    Usyk shouldn't take 6 months off or too many tune-ups. Fight someone like Parker, then Whyte, then Joshua or whoever owns the WBO belt he can force a mandatory at.

    Winner of Kownacki-Washington would be good to dip his toe in the water, Breazeale might be a bit risky as his first fight at the weight.
