I feel like based on everything Usyk has shown throughout his career if Wilder doesn’t lose a fight I think he’ll give him a shot.. Just for his legacy to say he has wins over ALL 3 of the big 3 HWs from his era.. That guy is seriously wired different..
He successfully defended his two belts against Lewis in their first fight. Lewis didn't leave the ring with them.
A draw is a successful defense. It was for Holyfield, as it was for Jack Johnson, Tommy Burns, Chris Byrd, Michael Dokes, Hasim Rahman and Deontay Wilder. If Usyk walked out of the ring with a draw and all his belts after his fight with Tyson Fury, he will have made a successful defense.
He'll be the greatest heavyweight of all time if he beats Chazz Witherspoon, Derek Chisora, Anthony Joshua and Tyson Fury? That makes sense.
2 wins against englands poster boy in England and Saudi (Olympic gold medalist and unified heavyweight champion who is 6.6) and unbeaten heavyweight champion who hold all the belts and is a h2h nightmare (6.9 tall) with a win over a certified atg in wlad and 2 wins against a hof bumcrusher with atg power. Yes that would be goat status for a 6.3 undefeated Olympic champ, cruiser goat and undisputed heavyweight champ. Stop hating and enjoy greatness when you see it in your lifetime
Badou Jack just won one of Usyk's cruiserweight belts.Winning cruiserweight belts doesn't have jack squat to do with anyone's all-time rating as a heavyweight. If you think Usyk is going to be considered the greatest heavyweight of all time because he beat Chazz Witherspoon, Derek Chisora, Anthony Joshua and Tyson Fury ... you need to enter rehab. Don't get carried away. He isn't going to beat Fury anyway. Michael Spinks was the Olympic Gold Medal Winner, the World Light Heavyweight Champion, and he won the World Heavyweight title against all-time great Larry Holmes (not Anthony Joshua). And nobody considers Michael Spinks at all as one of the best heavyweights ever after losing to Mike Tyson. Heavyweight isn't like one of those lighter weight divisions where you can skate in, win a couple belts, and you are considered among the best ever in the division. Michael Spinks, Roy Jones, David Haye all tried that. If you want to be among the top all-time at heavyweight, you have to put in the time. Four opponents (two of them being Chazz Witherspoon and Derek Chisora) aren't going to get you there.
Lmao Absolute smoke and mirrors. Success is having your hand raised. Lennox had his pants pulled down by the judges and Evander escaped with a draw, let's not try and dress it up.
ATG top 10 anyway (I can't predict exactly where he would be on the ATG list), more likely top 5. That would make Usyk undefeated, but he would be above Rocky Marciano in my opinion.
