AJ would beat Usyk and it wouldn't be a particularly good fight. AJ turned the corner against Povetkin, he went from "good" to "very good", and he's not only heavier and taller than Usyk but younger and better.

As I have said multiple times, these guys have an amateur style and it ain't gonna age past 33, although Usyk, being a heavyweight might be able to squeeze a few wins until 35 if the match him right. He's 32 in a couple of weeks.

I would also take Fury or Wilder over Usyk but here, he has a chance. I'm not all that impressed by Fury, he's an incredibly hesitant, gun-shy fighter for his size. He's a smart guy and you can tell by watching him fight, he's concerned about the long term effects of boxing. He is however, Very-very large which is significant in a boxing ring.

If it is true about Wilder continually breaking his hands, Usyk has a chance. Also, you have to wonder about his management coming into a fight a 6-7 weiging 209 lbs. He's a 2-guard not a heavyweight championship. In any event, if I had money down I take Wilder by come-from-behind late stoppage.

Miller or The Juggernaut beat Usyk, (yes I know they fought a short fight when Joyce was a novice). A straight ahead style and 30-80 lbs. is a bad combination.

    Usyk beats anyone else.

Wilder is unorthodox. He isn't necessarily hard to read.

Fury has his rhythm down in a round or two and spent the rest of the fight making him swing at air. He only got hurt when he let his guard down and gave Wilder room to unload.

Usyk is, if anything, a better adapter than Fury. He takes longer to get his measure of his opponents, which can give fighters a chance in the early stages, but past a certain point he's untouchable. Wilder would need an early knockout while Usyk was still getting his rhythm and angles down, and since stepping up he hasn't had one of those against a meaningful opponent in years.

It's hard to rule anyone like Wilder out, but realistically I can't see him getting to Usyk. I have even more confidence in Usyk getting the job done than I have of Fury right now.

Realistically all Wilder has over Usyk is power. I was tempted to say reach as well, but he's so inept at using it that it might well prove a disadvantage to him if Usyk is able to close distance.

In terms of speed both men are about equal, but Usyk has far greater muscular control which enables him to dart in and out and from side to side throwing hard fast combinations from all angles. Wilder's combinations are actually terribly slow because he winds up so much with his shots and needs time to change his momentum.

Compare a four or five punch combination from Usyk to one from Wilder and the difference in speed becomes very apparent.

I'd say Wilder is the more telegraphed puncher, by miles. Gassiev is actually very good at hiding his shots, and is able to quickly dart forward and explode with short, compact uppercuts, hooks and bodyshots that often catch fighters by surprise. With Wilder you know exactly when he's going to throw because he widens his stance and cranks his arm back.

In terms of damage I agree that Wilder is likely the superior, simply because he has longer levers and puts more oomph into his individual shots. Take that away though and his power rapidly drops off. Gassiev on the other hand is the type of guy that can sting you with one or two quick shots on the inside that sneak through your guard, but I've yet to see him throw a damaging shot at range. They're both great punchers but for different reasons.

Wilder is faster than Usyk but as you said Usyk is more agile. I hope Usyks team has as much confidence as you coz this is a fight I wanna see.

I think Usyk would beat most the HWs but AJ, Fury would probably beat him for me and Wilder definitely beats him imo. Ortiz vs Usyk is an excellent fight I lean to Usyk.
