For all of the talk about Dubois being a quitter, I think it's overblown. He's not that easily discouraged. Took a lot of punches vs Hrgovic. Took many punches and sustained an injury vs Joyce, got hurt vs Joshua and went on to KO him. Vs Joyce he tried his hardest and landed a lot on him. Vs Usyk, he was totally discouraged from being so badly outskilled that he felt he couldn't do **** without getting caught.
Underrated? People are doubling down by calling Usyk the greatest HW in history and a top 10 ATG after that performance. I'd hate to see what it would be like if he was overrated. LOL
well , thats indeed strange . all we can say os that this fight was the weakest performance of dubois since years . At that evening hrgovic would haven taken him out inside three rounds and not five. Only dubois or maybe his daddy can answer what happened .
The man just KO'd undefeated Miller, Hrgo, and AJ. Give him his flowers, amazing performance. 38 is just the beginning ;0
I think this is it, when Dubois can't land and isn't having success with his offense he crumbles. If he is landing punches he is happy to keep taking punches. All those other opponents were there to be hit. I reckon if anyone makes Dubois consisntely miss he will feel sorry for himself, though that is easier said than done of course.
You guys are overthinking this Dubois thing. He just got thoroughly outclassed. A skills and fight IQ issue. Usyk got Debois off balance, confused, frustrated and then took advantage of him. Boom! Debois is young. He can come back but it won't be against Usyk.
