I would love to see Usyk fighting Bellew next - he deserves that low risk/high reward fight. But I can't see Eddie Hearn ever agreeing to put Bellew against Usyk.

I think Usyk will have one more fight in the cruiserweight division, waiting for Bellew's decision. I won't be surprised if it would be the fight against IBO champion Kevin Lerena.

Then Usyk should (and will) move up to the HW division. I think he will face somebody like Christian Hammer or Dominic Breazeale in his first fight there. I think he will beat either of them easily, Hammer by stoppage.

I'd prefer him to take WBC route since Wilder is much, much less skilled than Joshua. AJ had only one fight in which he wasn't dominating on points - against ATG (albeit past his prime Wladimir Klitschko), while Wilder got outboxed by freaking Artur Szpilka and Gerald Washington until he landed that big right hand.

Szpilka is the same size as Usyk, but is about 10 times slower, 20 times less enduring, 30 times less smart and 1000000 times less skilled. If he was able to outbox Wilder, imagine how Deontay would look against Usyk. It would be COMPLETE schooling. Of course, if Wilder lands that big right hand cleanly, he can KO anybody, but that's a HUGE "if" in this case.

Of course, I understand that Usyk has no other chance of getting the fight against Wilder if he doesn't become his mandatory challenger. So he need to fight somebody like Joseph Parker, who will be top-ranked WBC contender after beating Whyte, to get that spot. Parker is ready to face anybody, so I think he will be ready to fight Usyk as well.

So, my envision of Usyk's next fights is: 1) Kevin Lerena at CW - late TKO; 2) Christian Hammer at HW - late TKO; 3) Joseph Parker for WBC mandatory spot - UD for Usyk; 4) Deontay Wilder for WBC HW title - 120-108 on all three cards for Usyk; 5) Unification fight against Anthony Joshua for all HW titles - ???

Uysk stops Wilder. Wilder is just a useless bumkiller who wont take on real challenges who has a big wobble every time his chin is touched.

I think Bellew will try and wait for a Fury fight. However, it would be a great one for Usyk, as his priority now should be to increase his profile in the UK and the US. Bellew with his self promotion would be a great way to start the former. Usyk could do with some English lessons as well... Was surprised at how well Gassiev spoke English, you'd think he was the Ukrainian !

Usyk should try and get on a Joshua undercard, even if against a more limited opponent. He needs exposure to build the potential Joshua fight further down the line.

He needs to bulk up a bit then

    Zhilei Zhang in China
Agit Kabayel in Germany for the European title
Deontay Wilder in Birmingham,Alabama for the WBC title

    Easy work!
