...will be the guys with good fundamentals. That was the case in the cruiserweight division - Briedis, Hunter, Bellew gave him tougher fights than fighters who rely more on their power than the skills like Gassiev or Glowacki or unorthodoxes like Marco Huck.

Huck has very awkward, unorthodox style which was very hard to read for a lot of good fighters, even top heavyweight like Povetkin. But Usyk just battered him like a drum and stopped him winning the fight with extreme easiness.

Gassiev can take your head off with a single shot (with either hand), he was arguably the hardest hitting cruiserweight since prime David Haye. Yet his lack of amateur experience betrayed him, and Usyk schooled him badly winning every round in the process.

Michael Hunter, on the other hand, didn't have the stregth or power of Gassiev (not even remotedly close) or unpredictability and wildeness of Huck. Yet, his good fundamentals and high boxing IQ enabled him to be very competetive against Usyk in the first half of the fight.

His toughest opponents at heavyweight: Fury, Ruiz, Joshua, Wilder. I can see him handling the likes of Kownacki and Pulev easily.

Usyk's hardest opponents will be fighters like Fury and Joshua. Recent events haven't swayed me on that. Wilder would get embarrassed and lose badly; it would be a one sided schooling of epic proportions.

Povetkin and Ruiz might pose him problems, although Povetkin might be a bit too long in the tooth to hang with Usyk now. Whyte could give him problems if he boxed smartly, but Whyte has a tendency to get a bit wild looking for a knockout shot which would open him up to Usyk's corkscrew combinations.

Honestly i think his hardest opponents at HW is Wilder and Fury.. Against Wilder, Usyk can definitely box his ears off but i doubt he'll be able to stay away for 12 rds and Wilder doesn't gas in fights.. Wilder is physically stronger and his handspeed is not too much behind Usyk's.. Fury with the 6'9 frame and boxing skills can keep Usyk honest for a whole fight very underrated footwork.. Fury would lean on Usyk and keep him at a distance with his reach.. AJ Has more power than Fury and box better Wilder but has a tendency to gas and footwork would be nonexistent vs Usky.. Also Usyk's handspeed would be a serious problem similar to Ruiz 1.. Furthermore i think we need to see more from Usyk at HW im now skeptical that he has enough power to keep the top guys off him..

I actually thinks he matches up well against Fury. Fury doesnt have the power to trouble Usyk and it will be the first time that Fury fights someone who is more technically gifted than himself. Punchers with lesser puncing power than Usyk have hurt or dropped Fury.

Wilder - considering Washington caused Wilder a lot of problems with an above average jab. Spzilka caused wilder problems with his movement (he wasnt the usual slow footed walk forward and backwards & in straight lines like most of Wilders opposition). Ortiz caused wilder problems with counter punching & combination punching despite being a slow footed inmobile target. Fury also caused Wilder with movement & slickness. With all that considered, you would have back to Usyk to give Wilder a schooling.

Ruiz - Has a solid chinn & quick hands that could cause Usyk some issues. However Parker showed, with effective movement, quick hands and a good jab you can beat Ruiz ( I had Parker beating Ruiz by 2 points). That works very much in Usyks favour.

I'd say the two that probably give Usyk the most difficultly

AJ - Seems the most balanced of HW in terms of height, power, technical abillity, good combination puncher and probably has the best uppercutt in the divison. However even with this, a questionable gas tank and lack of head movement I wouldnt be confident in picking him against Usyk, i just seen him causing a bigger probelm than the above three named fighters.

Whyte - Whyte has a big reach, a good jab, arguably the best left hook in the divison and works the body well. I see Whyte physicality causing Usyk problems as it did with Parker. That said, like AJ I wouldn't be confident in backing him against Usyk but I see him along with AJ causing Usyk the most problems.

I think Fury will be pretty easy for Uzyk based on Furys cat slapps! Wilder with his bombs will always be danger to anyone! Ruiz too with his mix of speed, power and footwork

Fury > UD's him in an ugly, low scoring competitive fight. Stylistic nightmare.
Joshua > I expect this to end in a very close UD for Usyk.
Wilder > Gets thoroughly outboxed, but has a good chance to land that big right.
Ruiz > Would be like one of Usyk's better Cruiserweight opponents.

Did Usyk ever get his chin really tested at Cruiserweight?

If I had to pick one I'd say Wilder because he can likely land that power at some point over 12 rounds. Its not known how Usyk will react to it though, but still...

He gassed in the Fury fight, however he’s shown that he does carry his power the full 12.

From the sound of his fans, Usyks biggest opponent was Witherspoon. He's already been crowned king after Spoons gassed a.ss retired in the 7th.

that’s what I meant like if he catch Usyk with 30 seconds left in round 12 it’s still coming at full force., I’ve seen AJ breathing hard as early and round 5 throwing punches without much force at all..

Joyce is a 6'6 240 plus pounder when Usyk fought him ,even green that was his biggest quality opponent .

Usyk defeating Witherspoon inside 3 no one would be talking about being gassed, he was carried . At no point would the fight last long if Usyk applied actual pressure when the bell rang ,he would've forced Witherspoon to gas much earlier.

Those crowning Usyk king have much right to as Wilder ,didn't he actually lose his 41st fight ?

That's the thing when you bring down a fighter ,what about the other one ?
