In between round 9 and 10.. If he didn't, AJ might have recaptured the title. What a hell of a round for Usyk!!
When Usyk actually changed levels and let his hands fly freely AJ couldn't do anything. We saw that in the championship rounds in the first fight, especially when he had him in trouble at the final bell. I knew that option would always be available for him but the oracles completely ignored that and all their focus was on AJ letting his hands go whilst also ignoring the fact that Usyk's speed, footwork, defence and movement made it very difficult for him to do that like he does against those big plodding stationary behemoths ''Should I start'' This content is protected
There's a moment I think maybe in the 10th (not sure) where they are near the corner Joshua throws a left, Usyk ducks under, turns him & smashes him back... its beautiful to watch.. for such a big man
Yes, Fury does mess up Usyk bad but is he going to show the stones to fight him for something more like 100£mil or is he going to keep these stupid demands up???
If Fury crosses the line with his trash talk and disrespects Usyk too much we might well see him unleash that upon him
If AJ had knocked out Usyk in round 9, boxing would have lost. Pure skill and athletism would have lost to bullying and crude power. Usyk came back and saved the whole art of boxing.
