What are Usyk's weaknesses if any? I've seen a lot of people raving about how good usyk is but would love to know if anyone could shed light on any vulnerabilities

He has no discernible weaknesses at CW. At HW size will be a potential weakness. Some mongos will claim his perceived lack of power is a weakness but he’s not a boxer who relies on power anyway.

He seems too naive constantly fighting in other oponent's backyards. It's only a matter of time before Vegas bites him in the ass.

Tough one, he seems to be a solid all rounder. I guess at heavyweight he may not have KO power which when fighting naturally bigger guys could invite them to try and walk him down. Imo he's a better natural boxer than anyone at heavyweight so it'll come down to bigger guys being able to do this to beat him, we won't get a scope on that till he fights up there though.

He's lost some rounds when he's been drawn into fighting at closer range, Hunter won a couple and Breidis had success there but generally when he gets on his toes and uses movement he's a hard guy to score points against. We saw that early in the Gassiev fight where Usyk was still. Winning the rounds but Gassiev landed a few nice shots that connected and Usyk felt, though wasn't nessesarily hurt from then by about the fourth Usyk had garnered his ranged and comprehensively out boxed Gassiev who didn't land anything more of note.

Hell get tested on how well he holds a punch at heavyweight and if he can he is going to be a very hard guy to defeat.

One can claim that his style is his weakness — the stamina required for an intense 12 rounds professional fight. Theoretically, he can be weakened with body punches and stopped in the second part of the fight.

JABS. you can slip solid straight jabs to break up his rhythm. He leaves his face wide open for them even in his high guard style he still has to come into range to actually land solid punches. He also attacks very quickly after being hit ,one would be advised to step back and counter him as he does his back and forth jump ins /dodging in and out to land.

He doesn't sit still much ,let him do the work and place his movements where hes at range to land bc that's when he begins to throw ,that's where you stuff him with by engaging him before he he gets a lead punch off...the jabs at him would prevent this from happening on a constant throughout the fight. ( this sounds basic but few have actually done this with success except hunter who also was similar in height )

Usyk can be defeated more on using his strengths against him which is basically footwork instead of exposing his weakness which is jabs thrown at him landing.

Take away his rhythm jabbing and attack when hes in range by blitzing him as soon as his foot ( either one ) hits the canvas even if you have to make it ugly is key and you have to be on point because Usyk is very fast and doesn't waste time which is why he is difficult to fight .

Excuse me for my english :)
His old weakness was when someone use good combinations, punches in his head, he just stay in one place and take the punches.Of course it's hard to see that weakness against opponents that are not top of the top(or are injured).

He does get hit a lot. He gets involved in close quarters when there's really no need. Bellew can only win if Usyk gets dragged into a war. Usyk needs to not let that happen.

    He slaps.

    His jab is not accurate.

His combinations are mostly flashy inaccurate slaps.

Inside game is not great. Briedis exposed this.

He looked bad against Glowacki too, in the second half of their fight.

He’ll get exposed and all his ex-sergiosexual and ex-oscarsexual fans will move on to their next man crush.

I think that he was too boring safety first fight style with Bashir and decided to swap him and started taking more risks and such to please the fans.

It was obvious in the Breidis fight in which he took way too many punches and stood in front of his opponent and traded with him. When Usyk noticed that for his next fight he fired his coach and fought way more defensively and carefully against Gassiev and won easily in that fight.

So if its a weakness then: He is willing to take more risks to please the fans and against huge puncher that might cost him even if he has good chin.

Other than that i think that he is weak to the body but Gassiev for some reason didnt land any body shots same as Golovkin not landing any vs Canelo and they both share same coach in Abel Sanchez. Super overrated no plan B coach. And also both Gassiev and Golovkin are very good body punchers in general.

Also can mention that he is fighting abroad all the time and sooner or later will get robbed that way. Especially if he cant put away his opponents and he isnt exactly knockout artist so.

Also he should try and learn some basic English if he wants to be a superstar in the UK / USA.
