I felt the same way when Pacquiao destroyed my favourite fighter of all time, Barrera. Don't worry dude, Cotto will be back better than ever.

He was astonishing tonight, he was just fighting a terminator, that's all.

Margarito would be a fine choice for a new hero. Not saying it works like that but wow, what a fighter.

yeah, i hope he comes back. the thing that makes it harder is b/c he was clearly winning the fight IMO.

it's not like when Tito fough bhop or winky b/c he was being dominated from the opening bell.

i truly do hope that cotto comes back b/c he is a great talent. he is a great champion and i'm sure he will be back better and smarter.:?

Cotto fans should be proud of his performance. He just met a guy who was too big, too strong, too relentless on the night. How many truly great fighters lost big fights? Many, many of them. Miguel can still become a great, he has the talent. I don't believe he should fight Margo again though. Like Barrera with Pacquiao, it is an unwinnable clash of styles for Cotto. He should go after the winner of Hatton-Malignaggi or De La Hoya (as Oscar doesn't want his farewell fight to be v a Mexican) or the winner of Clottey-Judah.

I almost cried watching that, serious depression for days. Haven't watched the fight since.

We have to remember though, coming back from a defeat is the make or break of a boxers' greatness.

Everyone loses, It feels like the end of the road when a boxer loses his '0'. Look at Ali, Leonard, Whitaker, Hearns, Hagler, Duran...they all had to comeback from defeat...on more than one occasion in some cases.

Nobody is unbeatable, Cotto needs to learn from this defeat and comeback strong. Which I think he will, I believe he will be around for a long time and will be champ again.
